Always unplug the unit from the power source while setting up the Foot Pedal and Clamp Set. Please following the installation instruction.1. Attach the metal clamp brackets (Part 16) to the table. Clamp spacing must not obstruct sealer when the upper jaw lowers on lower jaw. Tighten screw on clamps firmly.2. First, place the end of the link chain (part 18) into the support hook (part 17). Next, attach the support hook to the sealer.3. Place the foot pedal (part 20) directly below the table with the letters "KF" facing up and the "s" hook (part 19) point towards the table. Attach the S hook to the chain allowing enough tension in the chain so that the tip of the pedal lifts 2.5 from the floor.4. Insert the power plug into socket. Allow the sealer to heat up for approximately 5 minutes. (Actual time may vary) Place the edge of the bag between the seal bars and press down on the foot pedal for 3 seconds. If the seal weld holds, continue this way.

Won’t fit standard counter top
I am giving this product 3 stars due to the fact that the clamps will not fit over a standard counter top. They fit a table. And they do mention it only fits a 1.25 inch lip. But, This is a disappointing feature because in order to heat seal, your sealer must be plugged into a wall near the table instead of being able to plug right into a counter top. I have not been able to set it up yet to see if it in fact functions well as a whole. I plan to update this when I have rearranged my layout toaccommodate a table next to the counter.
