These Work Just FINE!
I use these to make extension cords from old appliance cords. And they are fine! I admit I was skeptical after reading reviews for these from other vendors. So many complaints. So let's address them. "Screws too small. May not hold when pulled out by cord". Dude, You are NOT supposed yank them out by the cord! "They don't look "heavy duty enough"". They aren't! They're rated for 15 amps. I have no doubt they'll handle that just fine! "The screws are not COLOR CODED".. True, they are not. But if you can't tell common from hot without colored screws.... you shouldn't be installing these in the first place! Bottom line, if you want heavy duty, be prepaired to spend 5 to 7 bucks each. These are $7.00 for THREE. They are a great deal. I will definitely buy them again!

Good product
Simple to use, but no instructions came with it. They have them in the photos on Amazon. Still a good product at a good price.

Great choice to repair damaged extension cords
This plugs are as good as it gets for me anyway. Easy to install and use, easy to repair that extension cord that got damaged.

Poor wire attachment.
To begin there wasn't any instruction in the product. OK how hard is attaching a plug end to a wire... Poor design. Difficult to attach the wires to the internal screws as there isn't a shoulder for the wire to squeeze against. As I tighten my 14ga stranded wire it squeezes away from the screw creating a very poor connection. I then tried attaching terminal ends to the wires but then there wasn't enough room in the case to close it up after. I do not recommend this budget female plug end.

Ok with caveats. Good value for light-duty cord repair.
This 3-pack is good value for what it is: a repair option for light-duty extension cords - not for demanding situations or a true substitute for the original cord end. You also have to be competent with some basic electrical testing tools, to be sure the repair is done correctly. One picture is of the repair boot and the internal parts, opposite an intact female cord end [the pictured cord is NOT the one being repaired - it is a heavier 13 Amp cord. I would not recommend these replacement ends for heavier extension cords or any cord using higher Amp motors or for any heating or AC applications.] The 3 pieces do NOT come with instructions. Another reviewer states that if you don't know which wire to connect to which terminal, you shouldn't be doing this repair (I agree). While many have said that they found it hard to connect the wires to the terminal screws (and then fit everything back into the casing), the brass (or brass colored), terminals can be removed (they might even fall out), so that you can make each connection separately, then slide them all back in place. Even at that, the small space and screws don't make it easy. I put each in a bench vice, to I could connect each wire. Though they seemed soundly connected, I took the further step of soldering each set of screws and wired together. No, I can't undo it if I made a mistake - I'd just cut another couple of inches off the cord and try again. Before doing any connecting, I used a multimeter to check continuity for each wire with the corresponding prong at the other end of the cord. You wouldn't want to go through all the hassle of repairing the end, just to find there was another fault in the cord. I repeated the testing after the repair was completed. As an extra step, I used a hot glue gun to seal the gaps where the cord passes through the repair case [You did remember to slip the case over the cord BEFORE you started the repair - right?] I ended up with a working, light-duty, 99' 9" long cord. Even at that, these cases are hard plastic, not the molded rubber ends it had when new. I don't expect it will hold up as well as those rubber ends, but I can once again reach most of my lawn with my electric string trimmer.
