I chose this bin as recycling these days requires so many different bins we were running out of space, so this was the ideal choice for separating out the small amount of food waste we have. We looked at a number of recycling bins and some with food waste bins included as an accessory but that still didn’t give us the number of other bins we needed for the separate streams. We already have a bench top compost bin so much of the bulky not cooked food waste goes in there, but the remaining cooked leftovers or skins and bones are what’s left for us. Given we were restricted on space I looked carefully to see if this bin could fit in the cupboard under the sink as we have a hot water tank there as well as filters etc. (see attached photos) I am pleased to say it fitted perfectly into the space available and now works seamlessly as it can be accessed while clearing away instead of going to the utility room (where all our recycling bins are) and having to dispose of food there. There are no filters and the lid is a fairly loose fit, albeit easily opened in either direction, but it does seem to stop odours from escaping and emptying once a week (more if necessary) keeps any bad smells at bay. All in all a very useful and economical choice.

Very happy with this bin. It fits perfectly under my sink. I chose to use the adhesive pads to fix it and they hold it perfectly. Liners are a bit fiddly to put in but I found some that work with it. It is smart and modern looking and I love that you can slide the lid forward and down to have even more access to the bin. Highly recommend this item

Just perfect to suit my needs .. size and quality spot on.. very sturdy..love that it fits perfectly over my cupboard door.. it is just as suitable to fit on the inside of the door too.. think I'll be ordering another for my recycling.. the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is due to there not being an inner bucket.. think it may be fidly to insert refuse bags..but overall very happy with the appearance..

Lovely small rubbish bin, you can either hang over a kitchen cupboard or, as I have, attach it to the wall. Easy to open the lid, big enough to get food waste in, and easy to open. Looks good, and really good value for money.

Perfect little food waste bin. Looks clean and tidy and hangs on the cupboard door really well without weighing it down. More aesthetically pleasing than the green caddy the council supply and does not use work top space.

The lid movement both ways is great BUT the bags don't fit properly, depending on how the lid moves them the bags fall down
