Great item!
So easy to use! Easy to clean as well, this vitamin duster is great for feeding your lizard, without handling the bugs. It took my 11 year old a hot minute to get the hang of the turning and releasing the powder below after dusting, but itโs been a couple weeks and it has held up well and he doesnโt need any help at all. The price was better than the local big pet store. Powder doesnโt get everywhere and the windows are pretty seamless. No escaped bugs! The plastic is clean and clear and there was no off-gassing which always concerns me. No scent at all.

Buy it!
Definitely worth the money. Very durable and easy to clean. Makes it so much easier to coat my bearded dragons crickets in calcium without the mess.

Helpful feeding tool for reptile owners!
This is really a great tool for anyone who has a reptile that needs calcium supplements. I'll admit that it is kind of pricey for what it is. But it is pretty durable and definitely serves its purpose. Plus it claims to save on wasted calcium powder up to 73% which is a accurate. With that being said I feel it has paid for itself by saving me from wasting excess supplement powder. It is very easy to use. I put only a small amount of calcium powder in the bottom chamber, add the crickets (or other insect food), shake them up, let the excess powder fall back into the bottom chamber, lock the bottom closed, then finally open the top and pour out the dusted insects. Definitely beats shaking up powder and crickets in a plastic bag. I find that it does leak the tiniest amount of powder out of the top while shaking up the insects, but it's so minimal that it's barely noticeable. I personally don't find any real need to clean this duster, but if I had to, it all opens up for easy cleaning. I just leave the left over powder in the bottom chamber for the next use. Pro tip: for those who have reptiles that need calcium plus D3, just buy 2 of these. Since my chameleon only needs D3 about twice a week, I keep a 2nd shaker labeled with D3 and the 1st unlabeled shaker has the calcium without D3. Just makes keeping track so much easier, especially if you have kids or friends who want to help feed your reptile.

Quick and efficient
Kinda weird to use at first but it's easy to figure out and makes coating crickets and other feeders with calcium quick and easy and it saves so much of the power from waste

Good, but not too good for crickets.
It's alright the function of it dusting is super easier than having to use a ziplock bag but not 5 stars for crickets. I expected it to be a bit bigger than it actually was when I got it. The crickets can easily jump out but any other insect would be ideal for this. I do wish it was bigger, other than that it's pretty good.

Must-have if your pet eats crickets
I went far too long without knowing about this and used to have a very complicated way of dusting crickets for my bearded dragon, which included me always needing to wash my hands afterwards. But with this I literally just dump the crickets in, swirl em around to prepare them for their inevitable demise, and dump them out one or two at a time for my beardie to devour like the uncaring carnivorous beast that he is. Easy to use, easy to clean, gives no issues.

How????
How did I not know this existed until now ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ I own a leopard gecko and dunking her meals in calcium all the time gets messy, come on. If you're here you know what I mean. I've always thought there was no solution but there is?! Advertised for crickets however this works perfect for all types of feeders, imo. Have tried with mealworms, dubia roaches, and virtually any other classic leopard gecko feeder you can think of. None have been able to escape. I'm a huge fan of this specifically because the calcium stays in a seperate compartment from the feeders, only coming through from small holes which you can lock and unlock depending on when you're shaking. So when critters aren't in there preparing to die, the calcium or whatever other dust you'd use for your buddy is still completely clean and in a different space. Meaning you can reuse the dust multiple times, which is huge for me. The tube is BIG. I'd be able to fit at least 50 crickets in there of a smaller size, maybe 30 of larger and pfft probably 100 mealworms. And the compartment for the calcium is a WONDERFUL size too. Was genuinely surprised in a great way. I've only had it for a bit but I can tell this thing is heavy duty. I'd be shocked if it broke, I'd think someone must've taken a hammer to it tbh. Love the design. Doesn't smell plastic-y at all which is great for my scent-sensitive gal, as I feed her out of the cup sometimes; which is DETACHABLE I KNOW. It's great. Just all around awesome. You should get it <3
