It don’t line up with my window , this kind of thing has to be personalized to fit window . Gonna have to throw away

This is made of light wood but the canvas hammock is sturdy and the seams are strong. All the hardware and wrenches are included. It fits nicely on my window. My cat likes it. That's all the good stuff. Now for the not-so-good. This thing is a mess to put together. The instructions are not very clear so if you don't have much assembly experience, it might be a bit of a struggle. All the holes are predrilled so that's a plus, and the screws that hold the legs on go in nicely so that's another plus. But the screws that hold the window brackets on are almost impossible to put together. The screws are supposed to go into sleeves that slide back and forth in the side slots so the hammock can be adjusted for different window sills. But the screws are just short enough to make it almost impossible to get them lined up with the sleeves, and once you do manage to get them mated together, the screws get stuck after about 3 turns. The ends of the sleeves are smooth so there is nothing to get hold of to keep the sleeves from turning as you are trying to twist the screw in. I resorted to using a pair of pliers to hold the end of the sleeve but even that was a struggle because they kept slipping. I finally managed to get 3 out of 4 tight and that was enough to hold it in the window. The sleeve caps need to have a slot for a screwdriver or a hex head for a wrench. I might try glueing a small nut onto the sleeve cap of the one that is still loose to see if that will help me hold it while I tighten the screw.This will work perfectly if you are planning to use this as a floor hammock and don't need the window brackets. If you want to hang this in a window, make sure you have a pair of pliers and lots of patience.My cat thinks this is a winner but I'm not so sure I do.
