It's 18k gold plated over stainless steel, the color is darker than redl gold. It will not become green avoiding sweat, chemicals, lotions. The color will keep for 2 years or more.

The chain length is 16 inches with 2 inches adjustable chain, it is fixed and could not be changed. 18 inches long chain suits most of people.
