Great product and good for you A staple in my granola

This is good quality ground flaxseed. I use it in smoothies and granola. The texture is pleasant, it's easy to mix, and it has the extra bonus of having a decent protein count. I like organic products due to their health benefits. The flavor is pleasant, as well.

I think RedMill is the best Whole Ground Flaxseed in the market. always consistent with their quality and always priced right.

We actually have this on our subscribe and save now. Husband and I enjoy eating healthy and delicious- I am vegan though he is not. Ground flax seed is an excellent thickener in some recipes, and I use it in my oatmeal pancakes (see the NYT recipe- addictive), seed crackers. and breads on a regular basis. He uses it in his smoothies, adds to his yogurt and fruit. Our bags always arrive fresh. We keep them in the fridge, and they last beautifully. I think we go through one bag about every 2-3 months.

Grains are a competitive market, but this flaxseed checks all the boxes and is a good value. After opening, I keep this in the fridge for better freshness and longevity. I also love the sorta-velcro closure, but I've found it works best when dipping out the flour with a cup rather than pouring it from the bag. My favorite use is whole-grain, low(ish) carb spice pancakes made from equal parts (I use 1/2 - 1 C) fresh-milled whole wheat flour (may sub sorta-whole-wheat flour from grocery store and add some wheat germ and bran), Carbquick (may sub regular pancake mix), almond or coconut flour, buckwheat flour, oat Kodiak Cakes pancake mix, flaxseed flour (this), 1 can pumpkin or one large cooked/peeled/mashed sweet potato, 6 eggs, 2 cups frozen/thawed wild blueberries, 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp ginger, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp almond or butternut extract, Carbmaster milk, buttermilk, or water to a thick consistency while stirring or slow mixing. Griddle at 350, generously smear unsalted butter stick on the griddle, then spoon pancake mix onto the griddle. I love topping them with homemade low carb (half erythritol, half sugar and less sweetener overall) cranberry, orange, cinnamon, ginger sauce I make once a year and freeze.

It makes my bowels work.

This Golden flaxseed meal is an excellent product. I’ve been using it for a while now and find it to be very nutritious and easy to use. I use it in smoothies, baking, on hot or cold cereal, on salads in yogurt with berries and it tastes nutty and great! It’s full of omega 3 fatty acids! A plus !
