Sarsons Medium & Tangy Silverskin Onions 460g (2 Pack)

My wife grew up with this spread on sandwiches as a kid in England. She was thrilled when we go it in the mail and immediately made a ham sandwich with it!

The question is 'what do I use this product for'! Oh Amazon, it's and edible and it's delicious on cheese and cold cuts!

In the 1950's my parents were always on the lookout for a supermarket that stocked Chow Chow and Piccalilli . I haven't seen either in the grocery store for over 70 yrs. I was astonished to find both for sale on Amazon. From what I remember from so long ago, Piccalilli had more pearl onions and little cauliflower florets in it than this condiment does. However, I find this "relish" or whatever you might call it, very tasty and very nice on sandwiches such as turkey, ham or roast beef. I got the mild version and I think I would try a spicer version for reorder. Very fairly priced considering it is shipped from England to the US.

I will order again. Great tasting.

Still as tasty as the picalilli of my youth, but much soupier (more sauce than veggies). On the other hand, it's a little bit zestier than I remember too, which makes up for the soupiness. Still, one star off...
