Highest quality tent of this type I have seen
There are lots of photos of the outside of a GE Utilitent all over the internet so I focused on pics of the inside for a comprehensive review. This thing is tall, at a smidge over 6'10". I have a couple 6'3"-6'4" men among my usual camping crew so I was looking for a tall shower/changing tent to accommodate them. I've used several of these tents belonging to different friends, including the popular Wolfwise version, and have no problem with most of them (though definitely it seems like you get what you pay for). General impressions: the materials are quality and durable, it's normal quality tent fabric and the mosquito netting seems sturdy. The zippers are great, many of these tents have weak zippers. This seems like a quality product that is worth the money. It's roomy, I don't think I'd have any problem using the tent for any of its intended uses. I'm about 5'6". The height of the tent was ok. I had to kind of toss the rainfly over the top and pull the tent down a bit to manage the hooks for it at an easy height, but I handled it without a step ladder. A 5'2" friend asked for help. Most of the features of this tent are obvious in the description. But I didn't know there would be a towel hanger line across the outside back, that's very useful. I also read an older review that the points where the wire "skeleton" meets the ground are weak points that are likely to fray. The tent I got has yellow nylon webbing reinforcing these spots, so looks like they addressed that issue. I wanted a tent with no floor so I didn't have to hassle with a wet or muddy tent after showers or storms, I got a 5x7 ft tarp to put under it if needed, making for much easier cleaning. Folding the tent was fairly easy. There's a paper with instructions in the bag and a video on YouTube. My first go at folding the tent up took 2 tries, the first time I learned if you feel like you have to force it, you're doing it wrong. Once you begin to fold it up the wires can really only go one way, you just guide them into place. A couple things that would make this better: rather than a shower nozzle hole at the top, a gusset would have been better to keep more bugs out and close that hole when not in use, as it is I will probably try to make a gusset to sew onto it. Also this would be more useful for RVers if it had a zipper window or two on the back or a side to access outdoor shower controls on an RV. The toilet paper roll holder is a great idea, but it would result in wet TP during rain or at night, as the TP would hang against the side of the tent. So I probably wouldn't use it as designed there, or at least you'd want to lay a shopping bag or other plastic over it. But the loop could be used for holding a trash bag. Also folding it up, sure would be nice to have a clip or tether to keep it folded while you put it in the bag. Overall: I'm glad I bought this and would definitely suggest it to my friends, whether of average or great stature (the shorter folks might choose some other tent).

Great tent, Great customer service
It is a solid toilet/shower tent, and it performed very well during a three day camping trip. There are lots of little things done really well while also not being overly complicated. For example, the zipper door is easy for little kids to open; the inside pocket for holding toilet bags, sanitizer, etc. was more useful than I would have thought; and the TP holder frees up that inside pocket space for other items. Folded up, it does not take up a lot of cargo space. Also, Green Elephant has solid customer service. The tent folds up very easily if you follow the directions in the video. I cannot stress that enough - it folds up super easily. After not using it for a couple of months, I recently pulled it out for a trip and tried to fold it back up from memory without watching the video again. Long story short, I forced it (a lot), and I broke it. I contacted customer service to see if there was a way that I could fix it. They replied back to my email very quickly and said that (a) there was no way to fix it and (b) they would send me a new one free of charge. It arrived in the next day or so. And again, the tent breaking was all my fault - not theirs. I am impressed.

Fantastic product
This little gem unfolds into its proper shape in literally 4 seconds. It's like some windshield sun screens. Take it out of the bag, toss it somewhere and stand back. It's also pretty easy to put back. I bought it for an emergency place to go potty, and bought a potty chair to use inside. It's perfect for that--it even has a place to hold toilet paper on the right! They did not brag ENOUGH about this item. I also took a shower in it (held a garden hose up by using a porch rail and clamps,) and it was great. The fabric does not seem as sturdy as some tents, so watch out for tears. Yesterday I had it out in gusts of 30 mph with only the accompanying stakes to hold it. One gust knocked it flat, but it bounced back into perfect shape immediately like a jack-in-the-box! The next gust caused one of the stakes (they are REALLY skinny and light weight) to pull out and the whole thing went over. I replaced it with a longer, bigger stake and had no more trouble. They say it comes with a "rain fly" but I'm about certain this thing is not waterproof. There are places near the top where you can attach guy lines secured to stakes that would make it more stable in gusty situation. It does not have a floor. There are loops to hold the door open if you like. The roof is light weight mesh with an opening of about 5 inches diameter. I looked at some similar items with a 3x3 footprint, but I'm VERY glad I spent a little extra money and got this one with a 4x4 footprint. I think a 3x3 would be super cramped. My sincere complements for the folks who designed this.

If You Need A Shower/Bathroom Tent For Camping, This Is The One
This is a great shower/bathroom tent, the best I have found. Its spacious, has a nice storage pouch and straps for organization, and is quite sturdy. I used this all summer as a shower tent when I was camping. Its very easy and fast to pitch. It is a little difficult to get the proper technique to refold it in the beginning, but once you get it, its easy to take down. The first time I repacked it, and then repitched it, it pitched badly misshapen. If this happens to you, don't worry, you didn't ruin it, just leave it pitched for a while and it will regain its original shape. I left this up, without attaching the guy wires, through several bad storms. In high winds it will blow over. The stakes provided are those thin metal types, and they will turn in the soil and detach, allowing the tent to fall over. Very easy to repitch. With heartier stakes, and guy wires, this tent would probably withstand all but hurricane force winds. Its funny to watch it in a storm with heavy wind. It reminds me of those balloon punching bags we used as kids, which fall over when punched, but automatically upright themselves. Its that flexible. Another big plus of this tent that sets it apart is its height. I'm 6'3" and all of the other tents on Amazon were too short. In this tent you have plenty of head and side room. Lastly, its amazing what a great shower you can have with this tent, one of the battery or 12v powered shower wands, and a black 5 gallon container. Set the 5 gallon container out in the sun and by the afternoon it will be the perfect shower temperature. You do have to lather up, wash off, and repeat, you can't let the water run like in a regular shower, but when you are done you will feel just as clean as with your regular shower. Great tent.

How to have a shower while tent camping
My son, grandson and I go on ATV camping trips with friends and we are the only ones who don’t have an RV. RVs don’t seem like real camping to me but now I see that it’s just a different style of camping. Anyway, my son eventually wants an RV too, and one of the reasons is that after the ATV rides he comes back dirty and dusty. He found out that making a portable shower is very simple. Water pump, hoses and nozzle, 7 gallon water containers, and an enclosure. (We don’t need a water heater for now cause we camp in practically always sunny Arizona, and the sun heats the water just fine.) I was in charge of getting the enclosure. I liked this one because it is extra tall. Then when I started comparing features with other ones that are a little less expensive I decided on this. The reviews are good and I can see why. It’s so easy to use and it folds flat and goes into the flat bag that’s included. It looks and feels like a well made, quality product. He used it this past weekend when we went beach camping up at Lake Powell by the Glen Canyon dam. My son was very happy when he stepped out of his shower, nice and clean. It is an excellent product. We will also be using it as a toilet enclosure for when there are no facilities. After it arrived, the owner of the company emailed me to make sure it had arrived undamaged. They had had some problems with delivery guys throwing around their packages. Maybe because the packages are so lightweight? I think it speaks well for a company when the owner is proactive about making sure their product gets to the customer in good shape. One of the reasons I like to buy from small companies. It feels good to give them my business.

Great quality, easy set up and take down!
My intended use for this is quite different than most others. I am a wedding DJ and many times find that I am providing sound for ceremonies outside. Typically, most only happen during nice weather. However, there are times when the weather can be dicey. While the bride is certainly willing to take the chance on having their guests get a little wet, I am not willing to do that with my equipment. Water and electronics do not mix! This pop up tent now provides me with a security blanket. If it rains, I can cover my speaker system in a matter of seconds. The attachable rain cover (included free) is an invaluable accessory. I love the quality of this tent, the ease-of-use, and how small everything packs up in its own carrying bag. Well done!

Mine (the first one) slipped past QC
Overall, this tent is of better construction and materials than other similar tents that I've seen. I like the dark material, it is somewhat less translucent than the cheaper camo patterned tent that we own. The included guy lines and solid attachment points for them are what really sold me on this particular product. Unfortunately, the unit I received had slipped past quality control. There was a small slit in the material adjacent one of the sewn in webbing loops for securing the rain fly. It appears that the damage had likely occurred when the webbing was being trimmed after sewing it in. As the slit was in an area that is under tension and the material is not rip-stop patterned, I knew it would not be long before the slit would start to get bigger. As I was to be heading out on a camping trip soon after receiving the tent, I decided to repair the tear myself rather than exchange the defective product and take a chance on not receiving the replacement in time. Two pieces of Tenacious Tape and a good dab of Seam Grip did the trick and should hopefully hold up well. The tent performed well as a toilet shelter on its inaugural trip and I love how easy it is to setup EDIT: The owner of Green Elephant later contacted me and offered a refund or replacement. I took him up on the replacement as I can't imagine finding a better version of this type of tent elsewhere, and his personal attention to keeping a customer happy with their purchase was very impressive to me. This is a good product offered at a great price and the company that makes stands behind it. Hard to go wrong there.

Great quality toilet/shower utility tent. Love it!
Arrived today, opened it up right away. It opened up easily. The quality looks great. We are developing and clearing some newly purchased property, and this will work perfect for my potty needs without having to drive down the street or "hold it for hours". This is the tallest tent of this sort on the market and you do not have to duck your head inside. It's very open on top with the mesh in case you're a little claustrophobic like me. As far as folding it back up to stow in the bag, we watched several different you tube videos with different teaching styles & slightly different folding methods. This really helped as you can pause and stop to see what they are doing. It only took us a few tries in the living room and once you get it, it's very easy and quick. I have been buying camping type products for years and I love the technology today without all the threading of poles, & excessive directions. This is just wonderful.

The product was a scam
I ordered the elephant brand tent, because I saw good reviews about the brand. I received a generic black tent, without any of the accessories of package content the elephant has. Also, the tent don't event fit in the bag it came in.

Folds down into the bag easier than the last one we tried.
Bought a less costly one of these but when it came it had a torn seam and it was difficult to collapse and fit back into the bag. This one has robust seams, folds easily and fits back into the bag. Hoorah! Well worth the extra money. Even came with instructions for folding that you could actually read and follow.
