They do seem to keep the drain tubes clear, which is exactly why I needed them. I have had at least one instance of a drain tube getting clogged with pink slime, and I'm hoping to avoid that happening again! The cooling unit in in my attic and we found that the thermostat would no longer turn on the system. I got a ladder, went up there and found the drain pan absolutely full of heavy water, directly above our master bedroom! The drain pipe had clogged with slime. Hopefully these tabs will prevent this from happening again!

This is pretty easy to use - I just dump two tablets into my AC and then let it do its thing. It prevents clogging and also unclogs the drains on its own. It includes a lot of tablets so I think this will last me for a while. I haven't smelled much smell from these tablets so that's a good thing. These are high quality tablets that do their thing and are definitely worth it if you're looking to drain your AC.
