Q: Do these protect against bedbugs?

If you tie each part of the suit tightly, it should be good work for against bedbugs.^^

Q: Anyone used this for poison ivy removal or something similar? I’m wondering if it will protect skin enough

I have used these extensively for poison oak removal. If you're careful not to rub up against rough tree bark or do a lot of kneeling, they stay intact and work really well. I tape the bottom of the leg around rubber boots and wear long heavy rubber gloves that cover all the way over my biceps. They do get hot - best used on cooler days - but if you don't mind sweating they're fine.

Q: I'm 6' and 240 lbs. What size is recommended?

XL should be fine. Get double X if you wear XL clothing normally though. The larger sizes are usually just for taller people. There is a ton of horizontal room in these suits.
