I shoot a lot of boudoir, glamour, and portraits in Las Vegas. I often shoot in client's hotel rooms and got tired of the time and effort required bringing in studio strobes with all the cables and power cords. I used to work with an assistant to help with all the equipment and it was not efficient. I put together a total location lighting kit with Canon 600 series wireless battery operated strobes, lightweight stands, collapsible softboxes, and the AODELAN battery packs. I like to shoot fast and these battery packs never let me down. I keep my flashes at 1/2 power or less for most setups and I can shoot as fast as I want with every unit firing without fail.The battery packs are well made and nice to look at and the having 12 batteries is great. They have just enough weight and the power cord is long enough to usually be able to strap them to the base of the stands so they double-down and help stabilize my lightweight lightstands as well.I am very pleased that I purchased these packs.

This unit not only helps with recycle time of my Nikon SB910 it is a lifesaver for batteries. SB910 and drain a set of batteries real quick even when shooting at 1/4 power. When I first got the SB910 I would have to change batteries 2 or more times a night to keep up with my shooting. When I plug this unit in, the SB910 can make it through 2 or 3 nights of my typical outdoor shoots before needing batteries. The strobe itself must have some battery life in it for the 2 to operate as a unit but this external battery pack provides the power for the actual flash. Love the fact that this battery pack has LED lights to indicate the amount of battery life left in the unit. It holds 12 AA batteries but it performs well and provides long battery life. Carry case is not easy to attach to my person or belt but w a little creativity one can manage to keep this unit close at hand.

The battery pack is sturdy and has an on/off switch. Very easy to carry on your belt during long photo shoots. The battery pack still had a strong charge after 6 hours of use during a wedding!(I replaced a Nikon S9 which does not have an on/off switch.)Note: it requires 12 batteries - a bit of overkill, but works well! (other pack only used 8). Also weighs a bit more. Overall, it's a great product and the cost is very reasonable. I highly recommend it!

Works well and allows nearly continuous flash photography when required.

The battery life didn't last quite as long as I expected... I got to 700 flashes before I got to 1 bar, and recycle time was good but not blazingly fast. All in all, a very good product for the price.

I am a professional photographer and I couldn't have been more thrilled when Nikon released it's newest speedlight--the SB-5000. This new generation of speedlights used radio control instead of optical control and that flexibility is HUGE for professionals. After looking at all the options for battery packs, I chose this one because of the mix of small size, ease of use and price. IT was a great call on all counts!It uses 12 AA batteries and powers the speed light for over 1000 shots. In fact, I haven't bothered to count. Before the COVID crisis, I was shooting 4-5 restaurants a week and the batteries lasted me over a month. And while I didn't know it at the time, the power-pack greatly reduces the recycle time for the lights. The SB-5000 is already a superior speed light with lots of power and faster recycle times than the other Nikon speed lights, but you'll notice a big improvement with these power packs. At lower power settings, the speed lights will allow you to shoot almost continuously and at higher power settings, your speed lights will recycle in about 1 second.In my kit bag, I now carry three SB-5000s and three of these power packs and I can shoot all day and all night without worrying about needed to replace batteries. And all that for a fraction of the cost of other solutions. Highly recommended for anyone doing serious flash photography.

I’ve only used it once so far, but it lasted through an entire wedding and reception and worked exactly as I expected it to.The constitution is sold and I love the case it comes with. With 12 batteries it is a bit big and a little heavy, but I use it attached to a light stand so it doesn’t matter to me, but something to think about if you carry it or attach it to your camera.

I meant to return it and unfortunately forgot to within the timeframe. It's heavy, bulky and would never work well for weddings with all of the other heavy items (that are needed) that I'm toting those long days. Bummer!

I never miss a shot. Recycling power is a dream & feels like it lasts forever too. The case that attaches to the belt is built extremely well. Strong material + durable Velcro. Extremely pleased!

After, I left a review about how I’d received the wrong item twice, the seller reached out and made it right. I’ve now been using the battery pack with my kit (I’m a pro). Works great, seems to be less delicate than the oem Canon ones, and the battery level indicator is a nice touch.

Importante saber que para que funcione la batería externa con el flash es necesario que el propio flash tenga las pilas puestas

Mal ganz ehrlich, meine Geldbörse ist mir wichtiger als die von Sony. Warum soll man ein Kunststoff Case für Akkus , ganz wichtig es wird immer ohne Akkus verkauft, bei einem Blitz für den man schon 600 Euro bezahlt hat, auch noch 220 Euro zahlen wenn es wie hier auch für 80 Euro geht? Das Teilchen ist klasse, mit Umhängegurt und Gürteltasche und es funktioniert super. Eine mehr als klare Kaufempfehlung!
