Works as advertised was center in the chamber.Use the tape method and measure just to make sure brought enough to distinguish in a bright, hot summer day in June at about 20 yd.Perfect , little laser , well worth the money.

I purchased this to zero in the new green dot for my 9mm handgun. It was really simple to do, and I appreciate the metal case this came in. It holds the laser sight, and 6 batteries. It dropped in and fit perfect into the chamber of my handgun and turned on as soon as I screwed the end cap tight. It looks like a 9mm round and it just works. I will see how often I need to use this after my trips to the range. Quick tip, take out the batteries after using it. There's no on/off switch

So this definitely helped to bore sight my rifle. The issue is that it's not perfectly straight with the laser. I noticed if I spun the laser in the barrel, it would be pointing in a slightly different spot, even at 25 yards. So it's slightly off center. What I did was took a marker and drew a cross on the end of it, with an arrow on the end of 1 of the lines. Put it in with the arrow facing up. Adjusted the scope to line up. Then spun it so the arrow was facing down, and cut the difference between them on my scope. Then did the same thing with the arrow facing left, and then right. That got my scope lined up very nicely so I could shoot it and dial it in perfectly from there. Wish the laser was perfectly centered, but it still works and will still get you close enough, even without doing what I did. It does fit perfectly in the barrel, and feels like decent quality. Comes in a nice little box to store it along with the batteries, so if I need to use it again, I can easily find it and not worry about anything. So I suspect it'll last for a long time as long as I store it properly.

I used this on a Remington 7400 .243. I sighted initially at 25 yards, then went out to a range. At 100 yards I made a 2 click windage adjustment, and that was it. Very easy way to save ammo!

very good. Didnt have the oblong issue others had. Zero in my viridian laser and red dot on my hellcat pro. Took like 2 min.

I took the EZshoot Bore Sighter to the range to sight in a Red Dot sight on my rifle on a CLOUDY day and set up a target at 25 and 50 yards, and was unable to see the promised red dot at either distance. Therefore I would suggest to not purchase this particular "tool", as it is just not worth the money and time spent.
