I waited a whole YEAR for this and didnt even read the monthly chapters. So so SO good. Cant wait for next book, we wish you a good hiatus ms yana!

I've been reading this series from the beginning when it used to come out twice a a year and focused on the dynamics of Sebastian the demonic butler and his earthly master, Ciel the young Earl.

Series Info/Source: This is the 33rd volume in the Black Butler series. I bought this in paperback.Thoughts: This volume finally gets us back in to the main story and out of delving into the characters' back stories. I enjoyed it but was also a bit frustrated that more progress wasn't made here. We are still dealing with the blood collection/Aurora Society storyline. Sebastian finally makes a brief appearance but Ciel is no where in sight.The story mainly sticks with Baldo and Lau who are trying to help get the Aurora Society out of the sanatorium. We do cut over to a couple other scenes but the bulk of the book deals with that. I felt like not a lot of progress was made in this book and am ready for this storyline to tie up.This is beautifully illustrated as always. I am enjoying the story enough that I will stick with the series and I loved looking at the illustration here.My Summary (4/5): Overall not a ton to say about this volume. It was beautifully illustrated and a decent read. I am happy to be getting back to the main storyline but a bit disappointed more progress wasn't made. The story feels a bit slow and scattered right now. I do plan on continuing with the series but would really love to spend time with Sebastian and Ciel again at some point.

Few years ago, I discovered the series and binged. Wonderfully weird. More and more twisted as the Earl wasn't the Earl.Read through this one and found myself struggling to remember the characters or care what was happening. The story is progressing too slowly. They'll have endless of these solve the blood collection problems. While the actual new undead Earl has turned the world against the now deposed alive non-Earl. I can't care much about lemon sweets for the orphanage, although it looks to be a major plotline.

Ahhhh its finally back new manga, new anime season I wish there was more to read because its sooooo good, I'm feeling drawn to reread it all and watch the anime again.
