For nearly 20 years now i have fitted many brands of down lighters , many that customers have got for me to install and many of them were total rubbish with no thought in the design for the installer.Well ! i must tell these are a total joy and fast to install with easy lever connectors with the block that tilts for easy access and a ratchet style cable grip with no fuss. Highly recommend with total honesty.Must also tell you that packing is superb and bomb proof , with never any marks or dents . Its that good that i am sure you could play football with box and would still be in pristine condition .P.SIf the marketing people are reading this - please DONT change the design !!

I have installed 12 of these in my outhouse that I'm converting into a utility room. They are easy to install and look great. I particularly like that the wires clip in to the junction box removing the need to fiddle around with small screws art the top of a ladder.I decided to replace the lights in my small bathroom with them as well so bought two more; on fitting the final one a retaining clip snapped off so the unit wouldn't fit flush to the ceiling. Having not experienced this with the other 13, I contacted customer services to see if they could help; they could not have done more. Within 24 hours a replacement unit was in the post using tracked delivery and now it's firmly seated in the ceiling.

Worked perfectly with Philips Hue GU10 Bluetooth version down lighter.Flange could do with being a couple of mm bigger diameter, especially if you using the recommended size cutout. If retrofitting, the the fitting opening in the ceiling needs to be a very sound finish as this won’t cover any uneven or damaged opening.Worked perfectly for my 73mm diameter openings on the ceiling (which had plywood reinforcement behind the ceiling board)

These have a slightly basic feel - they’re perfectly adequate and when sited in the ceiling, just sit there and they look fine. I’d prefer a slightly more robust feel and something a little more engineered but for the price, these represent good value.

Hue gu10 white bulbs fit these fine. These are good units overall, I wish they had used a screw tightening fix for how the cable housing attacks to the main unit...instead you just push it down into it but it can and has come off several times when installing. These require an earth.

Good looking fittings, great if you have limited height above ceiling as I have. Satin nickel looks almost identical to my other downlights in the house which are brushed chrome. GU10 best type of fitting in my opinion as there's a great choice of bulbs at reasonable cost and they are easy to fit. No tools or springs needed to replace bulbs - easy to change by tilting. I didn't need tilt but great to have the option. These are for connection to normal 220v lighting circuit not 12v transformer. Unbeatable value for fire-rated.

Fitted myself no issues. Quality is good. Wished I got the less bright Led as yeses one are extremely intense souls have got the dimmer model however, they do not give off a lot of heat. Overall apply with fit and finish.

The media could not be loaded.  Initially they looked rather large when unboxing and was slightly worried about clearance above the plasterboard but worked out fine. They fit and look well and when using the same brand Sanlumia led bulbs along with Varilight Pro dimmers, these can be dimmed from full to zero smoothly and no flicker/hum. I went for warm white and have to say they look well and have had no teething issues in the 2 weeks I've had them running.One slight issue is that you csnt seem to buy the bulbs in singles or pairs, only 10's, not a deal breaker to me but something to be aware of.
