Amazing value
This is a perfect beginner kit for gel nails for a great price, had a lot of fun learning / struggling to my own gel extensions. I have very weak natural nails and it’s nice that the hard gel allows me to grow my natural nails out longer. It’s nice to have the neutral gel base , if i want colorful nails then I usually just paint over it with regular nail polish. Sometimes the edges will lift but I learned how to backfill / fix it , using the same kit. Definitely recommend getting a e-file if you don’t have one since these can’t be removed with regular nail polish remover. Did my nails several times since getting this kit and am still on my first tube of gel! Took a while to get better at doing my own nails but probably saved me more than $100 at this point.

Absolutely Awesome
This Beetles Poly Gel Nail Kit is terrific! I have never used a kit like this, I have used dip powder but gave up on that after a few tries. This product is cost effective, easy to use and I think anyone who can polish their own nails well, will be able to use this product. That being said, there is a learning curve. Look at my picture and you can see flaws close up but I will wear this until it needs to be redone because it looks great a foot away and no one will look as closely as I do. This kit comes with EVERYTHING you need. I bought a different UV LED lamp but the one in the kit works just fine. The colors are great and you get all kinds of glitter and tools. Tips: 1. Check the color at the tip of each tube, if you don’t see the color, squeeze the first bit of product out until you see the color appear. I experienced that on my first nail, my pinky. 2. Do not get this gel on your cuticles, it is easier to remove the form and clean the cuticle and nail bed, and start over; than it is to file away cured gel from your skin! OUCH!!! 3. You must carefully address underneath your nails. The gel will collect and once cured, it is nearly impossible to reduce the thickness without wearing out an electric nail drill. Ask me how I know, I did this twice but will not forget this step again! 4. Do not apply excessive amounts of gel to the form or your nail. You can apply multiple coats if the first coat is not thick enough. 5. I was more successful applying the gel directly to my nail bed, than using the form to press and smooth the gel out. I then clean the cuticle area carefully and clean the underside of the nail. 6. Use UV gloves on your hands or drape a hand towel over your hand and other fingers to prevent tanning the skin and over exposure. I did not remember to do this so my fingers tanned a lot. 7. Do not listen to people telling you to use forms that are too big. This will only get more gel on your skin that you will need to get off once it is cured. Just make sure the forms fit well, you can always add a bit more to the edges if needed and it is much easier to smooth the nail than it is to clean your skin. 8. Use the slip liquid and it worked best for me after I added half alcohol to the slip liquid. Works like a charm! Buy this and save your money!

note to self: learn what an apex is
i just spent like 3 hours doing my first full set with this kit and it turned out amaaazing (or so i thought)… the black gel was essentially transparent when i put it on, so i thought “alright i’ll just paint over them!”, which i did, and ended up with an awesome set of dream nails. and then they all broke off in the shower. :(i almost wish the whole nails themselves popped off instead of just breaking but these bad boys are on there GOOD. they’re not coming off my real nails anytime soon. which is great!!! it’s good to know that with proper prep these won’t budge. i just had no idea how to build a fake nail. and now i have the strongest little nail stubs known to man, until i figure out how to get them off.i think i paid like $9 for this kit and it’s honestly a heck of a steal as far as i know. even if i decide never to use the polygel again i really like the mini uv lamp it comes with and will use it forever to cure gel polish on my pathetic sad little natural nails.on a side note if anyone is reading this and knows of press-on nails that accommodate long nail beds that don’t leave the eternally aggravating peekaboo corner fingernail PLEASE let me know

It's great when you don't want to spend alot for nails
I like this product, though it is quite a hurdle to learn. I can spend hours on my nails and it doesn't look quite right or when it's not fully cured... it scares me. Though it is a hassle, it gives me something to do.

It takes time, but it lasts
I'm a rookie at doing my own nails, but this kit will help me get better with time. I kept it simple with all white, but I did try a little hombre look with the pink. This photo is after 1 week of having them on, and no lifting so far. The kits comes with everything you need for a super cheap price. The UV light cures super fast. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic!
As long as you follow the directions and take your time, these are a wonderful alternative to acrylic. They last longer than gel polish, and are super strong. Just make sure to clean up the cuticle before setting, and buff out before your top coat. Love it!

Great
Great quality for the price. The instructions are detailed and definitely helped. There is some learning curve with it, but after doing my nails three times over a few weeks, it started looking near salon quality! They have great tutorial videos on their you tube channel. Love it and saves me money at the salon.

It takes a while to do them
These work. I did do them the first time. And they all fell off. So I had to figure out how to do them so they wouldn't fall off. I found that you have to do thin layers with these. And I was so excited when I figured them out. Now I can do all kinds of different designs. I love doing my nails. These that I did are not perfect by any means that will take time. But if you do thin layers of them they will stay. And do them one by one. They will turn out excellent!!! I'm so excited I figured these out. I figured I would share this so everyone else could enjoy them as well. The only thing that sucks is it takes so long to get them done.

Practice makes better
I have been doing my own nails for about 4 months, I was using tips with gel glue/polishes and I really struggled with flooding my edges - I finally mastered my technique but I had a problem with changing my nails weekly, which was not helping me in my journey of strengthening my natural nails. I don't know if I will have the same...compulsion with polygel because I've only just done my first set but the application was easy, I found it was easier to avoid flooding my edges/cuticles. I am even trying out a new length because the nails looked so pretty out of the forms (I have been a short square girlie for....way too long for it to be acceptable for me to say girlie) we are entering our long tapered square era.

Okay
I found this hard to master but if you know what you’re doing then this would be a great starter set, nice colours and they cure well.

The gel was too thick
The gel was too thick and it's hard to get it out. I think the product is too old.

Easy to use
Have used other brands of gel extensions but this is far easier to use even for a beginner like me
