Renovo Ultra Proofer 500ml is absolutely the best brush-on weather-proofing protectant which has been specially formulated to cocoon your fabric convertible hood in its own multipurpose barrier to protect the fabric from the extremes of the weather, from sun-damage, fading, stains. Furthermore, this product incorporates a strong UV inhibitor and is mould and mildew resistant.

Renovo Ultra Proofer prevents the harmful penetration of everyday dirt into the fibres of new and old convertible top fabrics and helps to preserve the colour provided by Renovo Soft Top Reviver for even longer.

How to apply Renovo Ultra Proofer

We recommend that you first use the Renovo Cleaner and Reviver products to rejuvenate tired hoods or restore seriously dirty or sun-damaged hoods, though Renovo Ultra Proofer can be used on its own to periodically restore the excellent protective barrier.

Mask off all windows and/or bodywork prior to application of Renovo Ultraproofer.

Apply a coat of Renovo Ultra Proofer using a two-inch wide nylon paint brush, starting at the front centre of the canvas and working methodically side to side and backwards to the rear.

If you drip any of the Renovo Ultra Proofer onto windows or paintwork, don't worry, simply remove immediately with a damp cloth. Do not allow it to dry.

Allow the fabric to dry naturally for at least 24 hours before folding the fabric.

The 'water bead test' will determine the condition of the protection. If the water rolls off in beads, even when wet, then there is good protection. In cases where the water does not bead and run off the surface or soaks into the material, then apply a further coat of Canvas Ultra Proofer (but only once the fabric has dried fully and naturally)
