Easy to fit, connect and set up in the BM6 phone app. Allows the state and health of my motorbike battery (or any 12V battery) to be checked on my phone when in blutooth range. Seems very rugged and well made. An excellent product.

Unlike your usual battery testers, which you can connect to your acid battery and check its health only once in a while, this one maybe connected to your battery at all times, and transfer you your battery health readings real time.Installation is pretty simple and straightforward, all you need to do is to connect the device to your car, motorhome, boat, or motorcycle battery, making sure to use the correct color cables (black - to negative, red to positive). Once the devices connected to the battery, it is a time to download the application. Once connected, the device will transfer you all the data about the health of your battery, and in case there are any abnormalities the app will create an alarm notification which will let you know that they are some abnormalities with your battery. Using the application you can do all the health tests on your battery as with any other battery tester(charging test, cranking test. etc).What I particularly liked is that besides the ability to perform various tests, and life monitor your battery health, the device also has a feature, to provide the current location of your vehicle.

The device its self works ok if your standing next to it or are actually in the vehicle i purchased this to check the battery condition from the house to drive where the car is this doesn't work unless your within 5ft of the battery the only advantage this gives is u dont have to lift bonnet but that is literally it i wouldnt recomend it to be honest they need to get at leaft 10mtrs with bluetooth as otherwise there is 0 point in this addition

Ok where to start, This is a good (if expensive) battery monitor especially if you have a dodgy or failing battery and will even help diagnose a faulty charging system and can graph out the charge state of your battery.Installation is simple, connecting direct to the battery terminals with the premade terminals (although I would like to have seen maybe a fuse in the cable just for peace of mind). It also comes with a sticky pad to attach it to the battery so it can monitor the battery temperature (yet insulated from it via the sticky pad?)Now the 'interesting' part.To get all this data you have to install an 'app' (like most things these days) and this where it gets interesting, not so much the app itself but the permissions it needs (or wants) and to do all the things it claims, your going to have to let it basically run in the background at all times and give it access to virtually all your phones data including your location (essentially its a phone tracker sending your data to China).You can of course (like me) deny these permissions and just log into the monitor to see your battery condition but you wont get alerts etc if there is something wrong and will have to remember to check every now and again which kind of defeats the object of this.It does however broadcast a Bluetooth message (I think every 10 minutes or so) which can be picked up by a home automation ( home assistant, google home, homekit etc with a BLE scanner) where basic info can be obtained see pic) and this is how I'm using mine.Overall, Good battery monitor but with bad privacy concerns.

Bestellte Ware war in 2 Tagen bei mir, Verbindung per Bluetooth erfolgte sofort und das Gerät liefert bei einschalten der App zuverlässige Daten über Spannung und SOH der 12 V Batterie. Auch ohne Einschalten oder Starten des Fahrzeug. Ich bin damit sehr zufrieden...
