Not sure what some hotels’ new obsession with hospital-white lighting is all about, but it doesn’t bode well for winding down for sleep. I stay in one of said hotels regularly, and finally had to find a different lighting solution to stave insomnia. I really do love this lamp. Extremely compact, convenient, attractive, and the perfect shade for settling in for the night. Bright enough for a little book reading, but not so much that it messes with the circadian rhythm. Battery lasts maybe 3 hours on full brightness. And I appreciate that it can downsize into a smaller lamp, if needed. There’s a slight chemical smell from the paper, which isn’t fun…but I assume that will fade. Overall, I’d say it’s a win~

This little thing is incredible. *I only got it today* it’s exactly what I was looking for. So small and portable, but gives off a good amount of light. Warm light and not harsh bright white like other portable lamps. The dimming function is excellent. 8 week review: Still amazing!!! Folds super flat, and is easy to chuck in a bag for on the go. I now consider this an essential for travel. I hate harsh lights and most lamps are too bright still. I also love that I can set it right in front of my book on the shortest and dimmest settings to read. 24 oz water bottle in picture for scale.

Awesome lighting. Small and compact but gives off plenty of light. I bought for myself and for gifts. Friends absolutely loved them. They look great, made very well and they are exactly as described.

One of my favorite purchases of the year. I travel a lot and this is a great rechargeable adjustable light that has nice ambience - it folds down flats for easy traveling. It recharges quickly and stays lit for a long time seems expensive, but it is good for the price.

I purchased this after I noticed that pretty much all hotel rooms offer nothing but extremely bright lamps and I usually need an hour of so of dim lighting before bed. This light is perfect as it's bright enough to see everything in the room, but is also dimmable if I want just a little bit of light to read before bed. I showed this to a group of friends while traveling and every one of them bought one right then and there because it's so easy to travel with and offers a very nice warm ambient light. My only real complaint (which is why I subtracted a star) is that you need to use a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge it. I tried using a standard USB-C PD cable like I use for my smartphone and it wouldn't charge. I thought it was broken until I tried swapping the cable to a type A-to-C and suddenly it was charging again. Seems odd that it would have a USB-C port on it but not be able to accept a charge from an ordinary USB-C cable. Unfortunately that means carrying a special cable around with it in order to keep it charged. You can dim it - just press and hold the power button. My only other minor gripe is that even at its most dim setting, it's still somewhat bright. But considering that there's pretty much nothing comparable on the market, I'll take this over the blinding lights in most hotels and Airbnbs out there. Great product!

Love it. Can control amount of light by adjusting how much I unfold it. Flods flat so you can't even tell nismo a lamp. Light not so bright that bother me. Bought 2 so far. Highly recommend it.

Great lighting. Works well anywhere and convenient. Glad I purchased it.

I bought this as a gift and my friend loves it. She travels all the time

Gorgeous buying another

So light and compact! Dimmable as well. Highly recommend!

I've just received this so I may amend the review later to add a note about quality/longevity but at the moment I'm super impressed with the design! This will be very easy to carry around for travels. If it lasts, I'm going to get this for xmas for my f&f.

Used it 2 times only and the lamp is already not working. It’s really disappointing because the product was a very good idea.

First unit was broken and did not charge. Seller sent a replacement, even though just outside 30 day return window. Replacement appears to charge. So far so good. Light is still a bit too white, but small and compact so useful for throwing in a bag for a trip.
