I purchased these for my daughter for her kickboxing class. Unfortunately I followed the sizing suggestions listed and my daughter ended up with shin guards sized for a 2 year old. Thankfully there was a tiny girl in the younger children’s class who was able to use them so it was not a complete loss

Have gone through two other brands on Amazon that say they fit kids but they are too long in the foot and shin. Finally ran across these ones and they actually fit a kid! Purchased the XXS and they fit great for the age recommended!

I didn't know that. I might have missed it in the description. Based upon the picture I though they would be foam and strapped on.However, they hold up well. We have been using them for months for sparring. THey offer decent protection and are pretty durable.

My so takes Jujitsu and loves these.

It’s basically foam under a sock like material but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for my kids if they weren’t gonna continue with kickboxing so gave these a try. Good for little kids in the 5-10 year range
