Nice product but...
Nice product and about to order a second, but I shouldn't have to after only 2 months.... I got this as a "heavy duty" model to replace those I had been buying from Cell Phone Shop in Asia because they only last about a month. It is true that I am somewhat hard on these, I mean nothing out of the ordinary just that I wear it on my belt every day. And getting into and out of the car I don't take it off (not they recommend that and maybe they should?) but with a heavy phone and it attached to the belt I guess it puts stress on the area where the belt clip meets the case.Bottom line is that the stitching at that seam has come apart and it is leaning way out at this time. Still compared with the old ones which broke so the thing swung around and emptied upside down, this one is still holding strong due to the double rivet construction and is in no danger of releasing the phone until it completely breaks the material, but it should be constructed better to avoid such issues after only a couple months of standard wear.I am ordering a new one, for the $6 figured not worth trying to get Amazon to replace it though maybe they would? Anyhow, from what I can see it is the best in a class of poorly constructed options for phone belt holders for active people.

Poorly Made, Fell Apart, Seller Refuses to Replace it
While this case appears to be very heavy duty, the stitching on the belt clip/belt loop began pulling loose within two weeks of extremely light use. I waited a while, hoping that the ripping would not continue. Within several months the ripping had continued until the holder was attached to the belt clip/loop combination by a thin strip of woven nylon material and five stitches. Contacted the Seller. Absolutely refused to stand behind their product. The case is a very snug fit for a galaxy S2 with otter box defender cover. Other than the belt clip/loop, the case is heavy duty and provides significant protection for the phone as well as having a velcro flap fastener. Ever wonder about having a magnetic fastener right next to your computer/cell phone? Why take the risk, I prefer velcro. Overall, this is a great holder with a lousy method of attaching the clip/loop section, but what use is a holder if you can't trust it not to finish ripping loose.

Don't disregard the other reviews!
I read the other reviews before making my purchase, and they were spot on! I thought I'd give it a try anyway since I've had good experiences with purchases even after reading negative reviews.Overall, the case is a great buy -- for the price, you can't beat it. However, there are a couple gripe points:1. The smell is indeed horrific. The other reviewers were not exaggerating. Unless the cases are made in different factories, all of the reviews should have mentioned that the case smelled like it was made in a gasoline factory. The smell was too strong to wear it for several days. I sprayed it with Odor Ban, and after about three days, the smell was not fully gone, but was tolerable.2. The metal clip does not stay put if you just clip it to your waist. It slides up and falls right off when seated. It seems to be durable, but does not have the grip ability once attached. Maybe a heavier metal would do the trick. So, I have been using the belt loop feature and have had no problem with that.I have not had any trouble with unraveling material, but I have only had it a short time. The velcro seems to be holding up okay as well, just noisy every time you go to take the phone in and out.My RAZR M fit in the case without a protective skin and didn't seem to move around too much, but did have wiggle room. I purchased the a flexible skin cover and the phone still fits and takes up a little more space, which makes me feel a bit more secure. The phone slides in and out easily no matter which way you put it in, but comes out smoother if the phone is right-side up.

Okay, not great
Bought this phone case to replace one that had lost its belt clip after 6 months of daily use.Instead of using the belt loops on a phone case I prefer to use the belt clip, its quick and easy to use when you want to put on or take off the case. This particular case looks like it would be a winner, the metallic belt clip looks like it would last for the long haul. And it might, if the clip would stay on the belt. The first time I used it the clip slid off my belt, something that had never happened with my old phone case.If you don't want to use the clip on case feature this case may be for you, the belt clip is nice and strong and the case itself is well made, the velcro closure, tho loud, closes securely.

Tough and Functional
My favorite feature of this phone holster is something you can't see from the pictures. I move around a lot and holsters attached with clips tend to come off my belt. This one actually allows the belt to slide through it vertically (meaning the phone and holster are sitting horizontally at the side of your waist and you could probably pick up my 250lb body by the holster without it coming off. The flap has some seriously strong Velcro that holds it down. Lots of room for a reasonably big phone and the sides stretch to allow extra width for a bigger phone. Good design job, guys!

Sizing is ... Random?
Based on the reviews I see here, I am beginning to suspect that this case comes in a variety of sizes, and when you order one, you get a random selection. From just handling it, the quality seems at least adequate. But as you can see in the pictures, this case comes nowhere near fitting my Droid Razr Maxx HD (XT926). It is possible to jam it in all the way, but if accept that approach, (a) you will need to take it off your belt and use two hands to get it in or out, and (b) once it's in as far as it can go, the cover flap doesn't reach the velcro patch. Some of the reviews say that the sizing of this case is fine, but the one I got is most definitely not. At least I only paid $5 for it (Prime). I ordered another case the same day I received this one...
