Pop Secret Microwave Popcorn, Homestyle Butter Flavor, 3 Ounce Sharing Bags, (Pack of 30)

My sister recently returned from the US with some of this popcorn. She only brought the individual bags, not the box so I didn't realize what she brought back was the "movie theater butter" version. This is still good, mind you (Still better than Orville Redenbochers) but, the movie theater butter version is the best!

My husband is from California living with me in Canada and this is his favorite snack but it wasn't available for delivery here in Canada for a long time. When we saw it finally was, he was beside himself with excitement. Unfortunately when it arrived it was very stale. Very disappointed 😞

This is the only popcorn I will eat. I truly believe corn, especially microwave corn, is not good for human consumption especially since much of it is genetically modified and because anything that comes out whole after traveling through your digestive system cannot be good for you. For this reason I hadn't eaten corn for decades. But then a small child we were teaching to share wanted to share his popcorn with me, and I couldn't tell him no, could I? I put it in my mouth, fully intending to leave the room and remove it from my mouth. Well, that didn't happen, and I have been eating it since then. I shouldn't be eating it, and yet I shamelessly do, hypocrite that I am.

I Figured out that each bag is about 40 cents when you purchase the 30 pack. That is a cheap snack in my opinion. I add a couple of tablespoons of my sweet cream butter to it and sprinkle parmesan cheese on it to kick it up a notch. I suggest you move the kernels around in the bag before popping to distribute the oil evenly so more of the kernels get popped. I also shake the bag up a bit about halfway through the popping process (about 1 minute and 20 seconds in my microwave) I hope these tips were helpful and work for you! Happy snacking everyone

I wasn't familiar with this brand and was reluctant to try it. But, when the Act II brand I tried to purchase was "currently unavailable", I decided to give it a chance. The price I paid for it put it at just under $1.00 per bag, which I felt was reasonable. I ordered it Monday, June 22, 2020 and received it Wednesday, June 24, 2020. That night I cooked my first bag. It took 2 minutes on high in my microwave oven. As it cooked I wondered how much salt and butter I would need to add. Later, I noticed it says on the box: "With a Sprinkle of Salt & Taste of Butter". When it finished cooking I opened the bag and to my surprise I didn't have to add salt or butter. It was already flavored to my liking. I will definitely buy more of this Pop Secret Homestyle microwaveable popcorn!
