Very disappointed with this item. The rivets joining the strap to the frame had the good side of the rivet to the outside instead of the inside. This causes bad bruising to the skin, Alsothe edges of the plastic lleft deep marks to the skin.

Excelent. It fits the foot perfectly and isn't uncomfortable. Of all the ones I've tried, this one is perfect.

This brace works well for my husband. He had a stroke and has right side weakness and he was starting to walk on the right side of his foot. He loves the brace which makes him walk correctly now. He even sleeps in it. It is hard to get into a shoe but I bought some Velcro tennis shoes that open wide in a wide width and he is so happy with the set up.

I wonder if designers actually try their product out on someone who it is supposed to be helping. I have tried for an hour to get the straps in the right place the foot aligned with the base plate and nothing fits the way the video shoes it fits. The video shows someone slipping it on bending over wrapping the wraps and then walking. If I was able to bend over and walk, I wouldn’t need the brace.Being mobility challenged means unable to move in a way to use the product properly. The foot does not align with the plate. The straps do not stay where they’re supposed to stay and the support is not there. It is being returned.

This Chinese-made orthotic did for me what the US of America Medicare system failed miserably at- It enabled me to walk while experiencing a reduced fall-risk. Medicare provided braces that broke under normal use, after 18 months, but M/C refused to repair them. A provider made a new set, which had structural features that put me so far off balance that using them was dangerous. And M/C refused to pay for them. Enter Amazon and its catalog of Chinese foot-drop prevention products. For 50 bucks and a 3-day wait, I received a pair of these, and folks, they work as well or better than the professional ones. And if one breaks, thirty bucks and a 3-day wait will have me back walking. Why the medium stars? There are no instructions for customizing the material for an individual fit and no cushion material to protect your skin from being rubbed raw. But they are way ahead of the USA's health scare system's response. And just btw, the mods for skin-comfort are simple and the materials are not expensive. Update: 12/15/2025. Upgraded to 4 stars. The right-foot brace broke today, after serving longer than the Medicare-provided AFOs originally furnished. I have been more mobile than in the past 6 - 8 years. Replacements take less than a week to arrive. And are less than 30 USD per side.
