I purchased this because it made fixing mobile devices easier. I fix a variety of devices such as phones, tablets, motherboards and game systems. I use this mostly for screen repairs on mobile devices. It's not the largest surface area for certain tablets but it will still heat up the entire screen. It heats up very quickly and it does take some time to cool down so keep that in mind when storing after using it. The wide range of temperature controls is great because some devices require lower temperatures while others require higher temperatures so as not to damage the board or battery. If you aren't experienced with the proper temperatures, a quick google search will let you know the temp ranges for different devices. There is no set up aside from just plugging in the power cord and turning it on.It's also in Celsius so you may have to convert to Fahrenheit. Be aware that it does get really HOT so it's good to keep it in an area away from children and pets.

It heats up fast and works as advertised. The chassis is grounded properly and the overall assembly is of good quality. The temperature is reasonably close to the set target, but do not expect high accuracy. The inside regulator is very small, so it might not last very long. On the other hand it seems easily serviceable.

A RUSsian illegal, ("ROUSE") designed this product!Initially I thought that this product was interesting in that it looked like the third-eye of illuminati pyramid, radiating infrared light via peltier. false marketing in regards to "keenwise" (which means "death of yes"): where the death of "yes" ("yes G yes") means, "net..." (where "net," in that instance, means intelligence)... although this product generated, "yes G yes" as "yes." It is extremely likely that the designer of Beringer products (out of the Philippines) made this product*, and they made it to fail. Likely suspects: Christina and Dante attempting to make "Dante's Inferno" via the lambasting of the Illuminati (indicating that free-masons were also involved). Keep in mind that as this product is designed and built, it could not possibly work as advertised, and was blatantly created to cause "fur" in Amereici (indicating that Bush was also involved). There is no in-line inductor and toroid between the H-bridge and what appears to be a lowside-buck mosfet, thus there is no absolute current limiter to the peltier array... the government of "OK" said "OK..." to danger! As the unit approaches a higher mosfet (on-time) duty-cycle (higher temp), run-away current to the peltier array occurs, causing the low-side switch to fail open (just what they [Athens] wanted) resulting in a melt-down/fur in the peltier array (metaphorically synonymous with the burning of the third-eye of Illuminati), by that point the thermo-couple (and associated IC) attempt to turnoff the low-side mosfet, but to no-avail... the switch was designed to be busted open by that time... casting a hex of fur upon the purchaser.This product should be considered to be sabotage (and an attack on US citizens), and there are also substantial metaphorical features (associated with the wickedness of this product) that are congruent with similar metaphors pertaining to the 2001 attacks on WTC1 & WTC2... mainly, the lambast of the Illuminati by the free-mason.Given that there is substantial association between free-masons and fire-fighters (most US fire-fighters are free-masons), it could be that fire-fighters actually designed this product... fulfilling some "misery-complex" like (Stephen King's, "Misery," sledge-hammer scene) paradigm... where they would save the day as the "knights in shinning armor" (aka "the Knight in Shinning Armor complex"): fake facades of safety and security. OUTRAGEOUS! They use aluminum conductors at high AWG, with thick insulation.. fools!!

Very like. Just have it yesterday but love it. Easy to heat to 400 cercus and remove components easy from hot board. I should buy it long time ago.

The plate works fine and heats quickly. However the AC line cord that is supplied with the unit gets almost too hot to touch when plate is warming up. Obviously someone cut corners with a 1000 watt appliance , and used a light duty 'PC' - rated cord. Make sure to replace it !

I never never really needed a soldering iron station but I couldn't pass this one up based on the price. The price point was fair and the product definitely exceeds the price in performance. I used this soldering station to replace some batteries in my old gameboy games. The soldering station worked flawlessly. Thank you.

Reasonable quality, words as designed. Heats up quickly and temperature across the plate seems very consistent.
