This ranks as the best yerba mate I have found on the market. It is air dried (no smoky taste, eliminates carcinogens) and with no stems (dilutes concentration of yerba compounds but does add characteristics that some people like). Others should not judge mates based on powder content; powder content thickens mouth feel, thickens the body and enhances chemical extraction for the brew. This is why I always powderize (like matcha) yerba mate, coffee, and cacao when brewing. It is my opinion that yerba mate is the most powerful, adaptogenic and mind enhancing caffeinated plant on Earth. Green tea, coffee and cacao are also amazing and rank as some of the most powerful plants on the planet. When you really look at each individual leaf particle up close, the premium grade can be seen. Each leaf is extremely lush in appearance and the chlorophyl is evident in the rich green color. It is not necessarily superior to some of the other yellow Argentinian type mates, which I also love dearly (as long as they are air dried and no stem), but it does offer a nice contrast for variation. The mouthfeel is very thick like most Brazilian mates are. There is a sweetness, complexity in flavor and relative mildness to the bitter for this one. I would highly recommend this product! It is a 10/10 for me. People need to be aware that most mate drinking people, use mate with an abundance of dust. I am sure many guards (bowls South Americans drink mate out of) out there could have anywhere from 500-1000 mg of caffeine with the amount that many use. That is alot of tablespoons. Not recommending that much. It is probably better to use the same tablespoons of yerba that you would for coffee. A teaspoon or two is not enough for the full effect and flavor. I am just happy to have this mate offered with no stems, as to maximize the caffeine in the brew. I enjoy the ritual of grinding it up myself.

I purchased both the Organic Chamomile and Yerba Mate. I have always loved chamomile tea and this one is pure chamomile flowers and leaves, nothing else added. It’s very good, higher quality than I have had before. The chamomile is in a very large bag, I may use some to make skin care products also, but for now just drinking it. I wanted to try Yerba Mate tea as an alternative to coffee and I ordered this one based on reviews. Both came in sealed bags, no issues. The Yerba Mate seems fresh and has a good earthy flavor to it similar to green tea. I’ve been enjoying a cup in the afternoon. It’s a lot of tea and I won’t drink it really fast so I put it them in airtight containers but you probably could just zipper seal the bag back up and keep it in the bag it comes in. The bag is paper but foil lined inside and ziplock closure. I recommend either of the two. I may hibiscus next.

This Yerba Mate is amazing — super fresh, smooth, and gives the perfect energy boost without any jitters or crash like coffee. I love that it’s organic and super green — you can really taste the quality. It helps me stay focused and energized throughout the day, and it’s become part of my daily routine. Great flavor, great value, and great for anyone looking for a natural caffeine source!

I really liked the flavor of this Mate version, you can tell though it was roasted. Has a smoky flavor to it and was not "Super-Green" as described or pictured. It did have a dullish look to it. Again though this has some of the best flavor I've ever had even though it was not as described. Debated on 3 or 4 stars due to the conflict of being misleading but yet still being great in flavor. The taste buds won so gave it 4 but again note, this is not "Super-Green" or "Fresh". Been drinking it for about a month+ or so and quality has not diminished so will last a bit depending on your brew style and how often you drink it. Im about every other day with about 3 well rounded spoonfuls per 12-14oz. I wouldn't also say its "No-Dust" either but its very limited dust, didn't bother me at all but just putting it out there. Enjoy!
