I am a big fan of protein pancakes - in-fact, it's one of my favourite foods to indulge on. This means, I am constantly trying a variety of protein pancake brands - this is the first time I am trying the Kodiak Cakes (buttermilk) and I am thoroughly impressed. The box contains multiple packages (3) and each package is approximately 6 adult servings (total approximate is 18 servings). Since purchase, I have made 2 batches, one with cow's milk and the other with almond milk - both batches turned out great. Mixing with a whisk in a bowl by hand took me 2 minutes and cooking took about 6 minutes. You have the option of adding eggs into the mix (I personally don't like the combination). The overall taste of the pancakes is comparable to one found in a breakfast diner when mixed with syrup, in addition to the the texture being soft and fluffy. The delivery with Amazon Prime was lightning quick and I received my package in less than 2 days. The box was sealed and secure. I am rating my experience as 5 stars and will order again - these are fantastic. The only slight downside I would like to share is the 14G of protein, when some competitors offer up to 20G of protein (without adding anything yourself). Besides this minor issue, you can always add cow's milk and eggs to supplement the difference and reach the 20G of protein target.

We have been using this mix to make rather big Belgian waffles. We've been preparing the mix using just water, and they turn out fabulous, tasty and fluffy every time. I imagine if you made them with eggs and milk, they would taste like Denny's. Love the 14g of protein, 5g of fibre, and only 3g of sugar per half cup. In our waffle maker*, 1/2 cup of mix makes one roughly 8" Belgian waffle. Just 3g of sugar for breakfast? That's stellar. They are great on their own, with a bit of butter, or jam, or tried-and-true Canadian maple syrup. We also add a teaspoon of chia seeds to the batter before cooking, for extra protein, calcium and fibre. There are 3 pouches in the box, 680g each. They lasted 2 of us one month, making waffles at least 4x a week. I do agree with others that the price is a bit steep, but this isn't your grocery store pancake & waffle mix. Easily the best protein pancake I’ve ever had! We LOVE them. 4 Stars because they are half the price ( around $13) at Costco.

My kid loves these pancakes and won't eat any other brands. He eats them on the weekend for brunch and it keeps him till dinner. A few bacon bits and maple syrup and you're good to go. The only drawback is they are sometimes hard to find, and a little on the pricey side. Great product.
