A neat, versatile, waterproof, little backpack...
Received my Tofern 15l waterproof nylon backpack promptly and on the day expected. One of my hobbies for the last couple of years or so is hiking, and if it is a particularly long day hike then you don't want a heavy pack. Equally important to take into consideration is the weather; if it rains then you either need a rain cover or a waterproof backpack. This Tofern backpack is exactly the latter: a waterproof backpack, light and surprisingly spacious. At 15ltr it is big enough to carry your essentials in it, and light enough not to make an impact during your long hikes. I carried sandwiches, a drink, compass and navigational kit in it (GPS unit). All fit inside without any problems. It didn't rain, so I tested the waterproofing my pouring some water over it from a jug; the water ran off no problem. Even when the water sat there for a couple or so minutes it simply ran away when I tilted the backpack. There are different colour choices available too, I chose the orange one as it stands out. The quality of the Tofern backpack is pretty good too; all zips worked fine, as did the fasteners/clips.All in all this is a neat little backpack for day hikes, or you can sling it on your back, jump on your bike and hit the roads. Please note that I received a discount on this item in exchange for my unbiased and honest opinion which is what I have given. If you found it useful then please give it a YES vote.

Surprisingly good quality for the price...
Bought to replace a lost climbing pack I had intended it to be a stopgap before buying a more expensive item. This pack is a bit bigger than that but is still significantly more streamlined than a traditional day pack.Adjustment capability is pretty basic but the chest strap can go up and down and both the chest and waist straps have enough length to fit the girth of most humans :).It’s missing tie-on loops but helmet mesh bag will probably be good for wool hats etc.Padding on the back is much better than I was expecting - though I won’t know how breathable it is until used on a hot hill... the pack material is thin but that’s a bonus for weight purposes - and it’s definitely a winner in terms of storage to weight ratios.Weirdest thing: the main compartment is side opening - I think I would’ve preferred a top opening style but since this will be the first pack I’ve had with this type of arrangement maybe I’ll become a convert... I can see advantages yo being able to see the contents of the pack as if it were a messenger bag...There’s an outside wallet pocket, secondary compartment and two small (can size?) mesh pockets on the sides of the base. The helmet mesh sheet fits discreetly in a pocket on the base of the pack - similar to where waterproof covers are stored on bigger packs - when deployed it latches securely on the two anchor points at the top of the pack...Overall I’m very pleased with this pack and will be recommending it to friends.

All in all a good lightweight rucksack
Nice light weight rucksack. Have not used it in the rain, but is comfortable for walking with and can pack a couple of water bottles and a light jacket with ease in the main pocket. Will hold a jumper in the main hold if you carry the water in the side pouches. Front two pockets hold wallet, keys and phone. The top front pocket could do with being deeper as won't hold most modern smartphone but the front pocket comfortably will. Maybe the iPhone 5 / SE would fit in the top front? (my iPod touch 6th gen fits). The side pouches are a bit smaller than I would like for a large water bottle (it's just about OK), but are fine for normal 500ml bottles of water and they have an adjustable buckle for a more secure hold. The whistle needs a firm breath to work though.

Small comfortable bag
Great bag if you're looking for lightweight and easy to carry rucksack. I used this every day on holiday in Rome carrying a hat, sun cream, water bottle etc has some handy pockets too. I also appreciated the chest strap to stabilise it and some hooks I clipped things too. Didn't use the helmet net but I think it's a good feature.

flawless design for a ski bag!!
Bought this bag for my girlfriends first skiing trip. Perfect size, great quality.Amazing design- Love the zip all the way down the side of the bag which makes it easy to pack the bag as well as get things out without unpacking it all.

Really great for the price
For the price, this is proper waterproof, and a proper rucksack. Just a bit small if you are used to big things. But it is eminently carryable, feels pro, sensible number of pockets, no complaints at all.

Small size suitable for essentials only.
Only had it a couple of weeks but its not too bad. Using it to carry lightweight size 9 trainers, a juice bottle and a few extras like wallet etc and it ends up pretty packed out so something to be mindful of before you purchase. Can't really say much about durability for running yet as I haven't needed to go out with it yet but will aim to and amend review.

Good backpack
This is ideal for my husband bikes to work. Plenty for lunch and water and somewhere to keep your bike helmet when in work.A nice brights colour too.
