I usually buy vanilla beans/pods which are dried, in a jar, from the store, and pay an exorbitant amount for them. I looked on Amazon and when I saw organic (which doesn’t necessarily mean anything but I figured I’d give them a try) that helped to sway me. They smell AMAZING!!! They are soft so I am able to scrape out the seeds if so desired. This may not be what you want and you may need the pods/beans dry for a recipe but if you are looking for a quality product, suitable for homemade extract (strong potency), clean and moist, you have found it! I hope your order is as good as mine. I’m super happy with it. It came quickly only draw back? Packaged in plastic, I prefer anything but.

Packaging: vacuum sealed and nicely packaged.Size: All 6 vanilla pods are at least 6".Aroma: The beans had nice strong flavor. They were fresh and moist even in the vacuum sealed bag you could see oozed vanilla oil around the pods.I thought I had used more alcohol for this extraction and was contemplating buying more beans to augment it, but just 1 week into the process the clear color of the vodka has changed into yellowish hue, indicating the quality of the pods. Maybe I don't need anymore vanilla beans; we will see how it turns out. I have bought vanilla beans few times from this seller and I have always been happy with them.
