Got this just for fun for our dog. The sizing chart is exactly correct. Measure your dog very carefully, following the directions for how to do it. Don’t over think it. If it says for dogs up to 22 inch chest and your dog is 21 inch chest, order the size indicated in the chart.This little backpack has five buckles to snap and that can be a bit confusing. The reflective stripes work very well at night. I think the reflective portions form a smiley face if you look at them the right way.The pouches on this backpack are definitely NOT removable, no matter what someone else might say.The construction seems okay but I have not really tested it yet. This product got decent reviews and comments on a couple of outdoorsy type web sites in the hiking with pets sections. One attractive feature is that it is not very heavy. Cost was another deciding factor.We got this just to goof around and maybe have the dog carry water bottles, ammo, tools, something like that. I read that dogs like to have jobs, to feel like they are doing something with a purpose. So we got this have put some small rocks or dog toys in it so far so our dog can carry stuff around, thereby being “helpful.”For the money, this is a decent dog backpack especially if this sort of thing is new to you and your pet. I can see spending a hundred bucks on a pet backpack if you know enough about them to know that is what will meet your needs. I am a beginner and thought it best to start small so that’s what we did. So far, so good.

Good fit for my 60lb dog. Wish the saddle bags were bigger.

This bag is perfect for holding food, water, first aid kit, dog bags, etc. If properly adjusted and weighted well on both sides, the bag barely moves even with uneven terrain.

We have purchased many harness type items for our service dog to come camping and hiking with us- we have got too small, bags zippers break or just awkward ! So found this one and got it and it fit perfectly, zippers are thicker so can handle a little more usage and the bags are built in so can't fall off while running! I think ourselves and our dog are ready for 2023 hiking/camping adventure.

Great design, roomy pockets, and reasonable price.I hoped that the sewing job could have been doubled or tripled thread.My dog pulled it hard but I have had other products that are stronger.However, I do want to buy more back pack for my dog from this store.

Thank you for exchanging the small bag for the medium one. Pumpkin looks so cute and the bag is practical. It frees my hands and shoulder and she can carry her own stuff. There is very little to not like about the bag. The mesh at the top helps keep her cool. We let her run and play in the park as well as on the trail with the bag on. The bag did not shift...we didn't have much in it and don't intend to put much. Pumpkin is still a puppy and when she's older and her bones more settled we'll add more. Pumpkin is also large breed which meant nothing to me...until she went through a growth spurt. She gained over 15 lbs and increased in size and length in a little over a month. She is now over 40lbs at 7 months. I wouldn't recommend the small size bag for large breed puppies unless you plan to get another one real soon. The small size initially fit Pumpkin perfectly but she outgrew it very quick. But it all depends on how fast you puppy grows. The medium leaves room to grow, Her neck is 17, her chest is 25, her girth is 21. At present Pumpkin is not completely filled out so the middle belt is a bit loose at its smallest setting but the front and rear belts do a good job of stabilizing the bag so it doesn't shift around. Pumpkin loves mud like some dogs like water but mud wipes the bag off easy. I like that its lightweight and easy to clean. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Spectacular! Fit my huge Golden retriever where 4 other packs failed. I found a big canvas one for camping, but it is way to heavy and hot for summer with his thick coat. This one breathes, doesn’t overheat him, and is very light with bigger pockets than any other pack I have bought. The design for the straps is perfect. The pack rides back from his neck and the straps don’t touch his legs or go too far back on his belly for his comfort. It doesn’t slide to the side like other packs I have tried. I chose the bright orange color and it is very visible when we are in high traffic areas, making us both safer. The little bowl is cute, fits in my palm, yet deep enough when expanded so he can drink out of it. It is small for him and requires refilling, so I will be using a bigger one I already have. Very nice rubbery material however. I couldn’t be happier with this doggie back pack. Y dogs girth around his tummy/chest is 40 inches. This pack has room left over on the straps after it is adjusted to him. Amazing. He loves it. Easy on easy off, size large. Durable good quality straps, buckles and I love the padding in the right places, quality heavy duty mesh elsewhere, waterproof I think pockets. Haven’t checked checked but at least water resistant. Perfect for your bigger sized dog. Plenty of adjustments available for just the right fit

Bought this for my female Rottie who needs a “ job” to do constantly.

Haven’t taken it out on a walk yet but it seems well made. I like the mesh so it’s breathable and my dog will stay cool. Pretty large pockets. However the sizing says it will fit a girth up to 39” so I originally bought it for my St Bernard... the girth doesn’t go any larger then 34” so now it’s for my husky or bull dog mix. Fits them perfectly. That’s the only reason I took a star away. Other then that it looks like it’ll be good

I looked at what my local pet stores had to offer but found them to be poorly made and expensive.After researching online, I chose this harness and I was not disappointed.Well made and was easy to adjust for my 65 pd husky/hound cross.
