Pacsafe Venturesafe EXP35 Anti Theft Travel Backpack, Slate

This is probably a bit of overkill for a trip to Paris but having read about numerous pickpocketing incidents on the metro thus probably isn’t a bad idea. It’s a good size.. will handle carryon items (headphones, water bottles, electronics etc) with ease and still have room for an emergency change of clothes and toiletries. It’s well thought out and the build quality is excellent. Not cheap by any means, but a great discount off of the full retail when buying on Amazon. It’s a winner!

Just what I needed

I used this backpack as a carryon on a recent flight. It was a little large. Really a little too big to fit under a seat, but it went into the overhead just fine. It's security features worked well. Even my husband couldn't figure out how to get into it! I'm planning to use it on a camping trip later this summer. It holds a lot, including extra shoes! It seems to be built tough and should last a long time with care.

This is a great product that really helps us protect our items.

I bought this bag because I needed something bigger than my 28 litre bag for my clothes, and still be within the carry on bag size limitations. Unfortunately, when I transferred my clothes across the bag filled up and I was unable to actually put anything new in. So, while this bag is great for it’s theft deterrence, it’s actually not 35 litres in volume, it will JUST fit 28 litres worth of stuff.

Got this as my carryon, fantastic bag. Cannot be pen zipper trick opened, slash proof (it would take a lot of cutting with a sharp blade) very spacious and easy to pack in the main compartment. I would recommend packing cubes though, it kind of opens like a suitcase. Still I could put my valuables in it, then my quick access for my flight items in the smaller pockets (large noise cancelling headphones and a bunch of cables). I think it should be appreciated this thing is like a portable safe. I locked the sling around my bedframe of my Airbnb and then I put a small padlock on the main compartment lock. Someone probably could with tools open it, but you would really need to come prepared. A petty thief wouldn't be able to do a thing. With the extra padlock on, no matter how tired I was or how heavy my bag was I was never once worried about someone stealing from my bags. For all that 5 stars easy

Solid bag but not really 35 Liters as the shoe bag takes up space even when empty. The compression straps seem to always be in the way. Maybe that was to provide an extra deterrent to someone trying to get into your stuff, but most of the time they would be more of a deterrent to me. 45l is actually less money but the laptop storage being in front is the killer for me. Maybe in V2 they will fix that.

Whenever we travel this is the perfect backpack pick pocket proof. Live it. Bought 3 for me, my wife and son.

Deze tas is kwalitatief zeer goed ontworpen en ziet er ook zo uit. Toch is het niet de juiste tas voor mij. De prijs is fair maar het is toch een vrij groot bedrag. Dan moet de tas ook goed bevallen. De tas heeft een irritante schoenzak. De flap aan de binnenkant is hinderlijk tijdens het inpakken van de tas met name als je de schoenzak niet gebruikt. De draagriemen zijn van hoge kwaliteit maar kunnen niet weggestopt worden in een apart vak zoals bij de 45L liter versie. Dit maakt dat de riemen in de weg kunnen zitten bij het opbergen in een bijv een vliegtuig of als je de tas op een andere manier gebruikt dan als rugzak. Ik vond de tas ook onhandig openen met een rits die niet geheel langs de zijkant opengaat maar gedeeltelijk op de bovenkant. De tas vormt spits toe aan de bovenkant. Op die plek kun je amper wat kwijt. Ook vond ik dat er teveel toeters en bellen aan de tas zitten. Overal kleine bergruimtes die maar weinig toevoegen behalve dan als je echt elk klein dingetje in een apart vakje wilt opbergen. 1 groot vak en 1 klein vak was genoeg geweest. Zeker als je packing cubes gebruikt. Ook kon ik geen exomesh voelen aan de zijkant van de tas en op meerdere andere plekken ook niet. Er is dus nog steeds met een schept mes in de tas te komen als iemand een minuutje ongezien de tijd heeft , bijv. een hotelmedewerker.

It is a nice sturdy bag, but it is quite heavy if you need to walk a lot with it, it could be a burden. Safety features are off the charts, that was a plus. I made a trip to Europe with a few stopovers, and had to buy another bag to meet the weight minimums of the airline for carry-on, as it is very heavy. Won't be using it for long trips, but it might work for camping.

Mochila excelente, pero ojo. Hay que hacer investigación. Es espaciosa, pero no muchísimo, y es pesada. Obviamente. La prioridad de la mochila es seguridad y eso es lo que te da. Las bolsas laterales para thermos y cosas así es compresiva y ayuda a que no se caigan las cosas. Mucha costumización para que no te la roben. Tiene broche en pecho. Es muy resistente.

Great bag. Was in perfect condition and well packaged. Came faster then expected. Had a address issue on my end and sender fix the issue right away and Came early.

Die Dienstahlsicherheit kam bis jetzt glücklicherweise noch nicht zum Einsatz. Aber grundsätzlich fühlt der Rucksack sich qualitativ sehr gut an.
