I use this in place of simple syrup in my old fashions that I make at hope. It is now my go to. I was skeptical at first but I really enjoy the flavor. They recommend using a 1/2oz per drink. I would not exceed that because it is very sweet.

This is by far one of the best smoked maple syrups out there. I can’t speak about other Trippleman’s products, but this syrup is delicious with just the right hint of smoke. I’ve made amazing Old Fashioneds and am eager to use it in other recipes.

Good product

This makes a good old fashioned. It is a sirup that ads flavor and interest to the drink. It does what a small about of molasses and orange bitters might do. I found their recommended amount to be too much and just use a capful or less to flavor the drink. I use a large ice cube, 2oz. rye whisky and an orange peel to finish the drink. I would recommend this based upon taste and ease of use.
