I was very impressed that you can find this incense here at such a good price. The package arrived very quickly, in about 10 days, outside the US.It should be noted that the appearance and presentation are amazing. Like many other Japanese incenses, it is clear that the manufacturer has great respect for tradition, craftsmanship and the customer who paid for it. The box is made of very high-quality and beautiful materials. It has 100 incense sticks divided into 5 small groups of 20 each. Each of them is wrapped in stylish delicate paper. In short, I was very impressed with the presentation.Regarding the smell, the incense inside the box exudes a delicate and warm scent of musk. Not synthetic musk, but much more attractive and refreshing.As soon as you light it, there is no trace of the musk scent, but the scent of agarwood bursts out, and in a very delicate way.The incense is perfect for meditation, because it does not have an overpowering and strong smell, but is very balanced and relaxing.I highly recommend it to anyone interested in real, quality Japanese incense. It is not an everyday incense, more for special moments and occasions. Not something you want to burn every day.

These are well formulated products, the smoke is reasonably low, the fragrance is smooth though not the most complex, yet totally relaxing. These are a great daily burn IMO.

The media could not be loaded. Burns fantastic. Smoke is minimal & fine. The fragrance is absolutely lovely. Not too strong, earthy, & just subtle enough. I’m not sure exactly how long one stick burns, but it’s well over 20 min. The packaging was beautiful. So far, no broken sticks. Will definitely buy again.

Pros: an extremely pure, intensely sweet fragrance which is neither cloying or overpoweringExpands somewhat upon burningCons: appears highly perfumed. i find no lingering nor depths here. Burn is quite intimate rather than impressive.FuIn Kyara is so intense I have yet to find any complementary balancing scent-unless it be a log-gone Mysore heartwood.I prefer FuIn Kyara un-burned; andI *much* prefer the $30 Minorien Aloeswood mini-sticks:For me those carve deep inroads into Jambhala meditation

If you like aloeswood, you must try this. It doesn’t quite match the quality of Minorien Kyara Ryugen, but this is exceptional aloeswood—rich and alluring. So good that I wouldn’t recommend it for meditation, as the delicious scent will keep distracting you.

Brilliant! Special! I burn incense (almost exclusively Japanese incense, mostly Shoyeido and Baieido products) every day, almost all day long, but I only burn 2-3 sticks of Minorien's Fu-in Kyara per week because I don't want to get used-to or blasé about something this good (and I'm not wealthy, even though I have a taste for high-end, $30-75/oz, Chinese tea in the gungfu-style).Any effort on my part to write "listening notes" would merely be parroting what's been better-said by others. Check the reviews posted at The Olfactory Rescue Service for what experts have to say about this stuff.

Wonderful fragrance! Fuin makes the nicest incense. This is an exotic, dry, rare kyara incense. Beautiful and very pleasing!
