What a great idea! A dog guard that you can open enabling you to access the dog or his/her requirements from inside the car. Also invaluable in case of accident when you might need to get the dog out of the boot via the back seat. Reasonably priced compared to other, inferior models, sturdy, easy to fit and, while bought for a Mazda Demio (small hatchback) does OK in the bigger car (Citroen Berlingo). Very pleased with this purchase.

This is the best dog guard I have ever purchased and I have had a few. It is sturdy , easy to fit and most importantly doesn't rattle !! I can't recommend this enough.

I'm sure this would be studier than it looked if it fitted better, but it did not fit my Mercedes GLC with sunroof.

I have returned the item as it was not as advertised and did not fit my car,I also had to pay £16 for the return postage after paying £7 for delivery In the first place,all in all disappointed.

This a good strong dog guard but my mechanic didn't find it very easy to install. I bought it for an Avensis Hatchback and it was fine once installed although the roof supports tended to come undone and lose connection with the roof. That said it still did the job.. However I changed my car for an Auris Tourer and it didn't fit it as there was not enough headroom and the extending boot cover was in the way. I suggest that if you are considering it that you measure your car to ensure it will fit. Contrary to the descriptions it is not a universal guard.
