This TN247 toner cartridge is an amazing value for money. In the packaging, the toner comes in protective packaging and instructions on how to use it, along with what happens if the printer does not detect the toner, and an email address for support. I have used this toner cartridge with a genuine Brother drum unit, and the print quality is amazing! The black is very deep and gives a nice bold colour. Please note, with non-genuine Brother drum units, the quality may differ. Overall, this product is AMAZING value for money and has no issues with printer detection/compatibility! Bought this for my parents printer - the first cartridge had issues with the print not covering the entire width of the page, so got in touch with seller, who after getting me to run some tests and suggestions, agreed cartridge was faulty. They then sent out a replacement free of charge which has proved to be absolutely fine. So full marks for customer service, but one star knocked off as the original cartridge was faulty, but easily addressed.

I bought a couple of TN-247BK cartridges in October 2024 for about £25 in an Amazon Prime Day offer. I have a Brother MFC-L3730CDN and regularly used to use third-party toner until a firmware update last year seemed to disable this option in my printer - I would get a 'non-genuine toner' message, even when I would move the chip from a genuine Brother toner cartridge to the third-party one. I tried to reinstall an earlier firmware but still struggled with third-party toners. I thought I would give this one a shot due to the excellent price and all I can say is: so far, so good. The cartridge was recongised without any issues and as you can see from the attached picture, the print quality is excellent so far. Also worth mentioning that packaging was nice and compact, and the item was delivered a day ahead of schedule. I will update the review as time goes by if there are any issues, but for now it seems like this is an excellent alternative to the grossly over-priced Brother toner cartridges.

I purchased this toner in advance to have a replacement ready when needed. When I finally opened it, I immediately noticed black powder scattered all over the box. After cleaning it up, I attempted to print a few pages, but the results were terrible—only half the page printed clearly, while the other half was almost unreadable. Unfortunately, the return window has closed, so I can't request a replacement. This was a complete waste of money! I strongly advise against buying this product.

This is the first time purchasing and it did take a moment to be able to install into the Brother as it was a little clunky, it did work though. The ink was faded on the right hand side of a page and the trouble shooting guide suggested shaking the barrel as the toner may have been clumped. This did work but I have had to do it periodically as the toner fades at the edge of the page. Is this worth the cost difference between the Brother brand and this..I've yet to decide.

After ordering a "compatible" cartridge elsewhere that was not recognised by my Brother printer, I ordered this Skydo one instead and it just worked instantly when plugged in. Can't ask for more than that!

There's a lot of wonky toners out there that don't work properly but seems to work as well as genuine toner. 5*. Only printed a few pages so if it kills the drum I'll come back and update my review! EDIT: two weeks later alas it was too good to be true. Started printing faded along one side of the page. Put a genuine toner back in and it instantly started printing properly again. Being returned. 1* EDIT 2: The seller reached out to me and offered a free replacement item (even though I'd been refunded) which I've installed today and is so far working great. I've upped my review to 4* as it seems to be working fine now, and if it keeps working well I'll edit and set this back to 5*!
