JUST ENOUGH DRAMA AND PASSION
I loved the passion of this book and all the drama that went with it and I don't think we get enough of it in a lot of books as they are often too sweet and cheesy. This is the love story of Cat and Heath (love his name) and how they meet when they are young when Cat's parents foster Heath. They are drawn to each other straight away and begin a love affair. But it isn't to last and Heath disappears from Cat's life for 4 years. When he returns a lot of things have changed and Cat is engaged to a guy called Ethan. From the moment Heath walks back into her life the angst, drama and passion was all there and I loved the part when Cat gets jealous because she thinks Heath has been with her best friend, Ethan's sister. The only negative about this book is it just simply wasn't long enough and it finished rather abruptly which was a real disappointment. I would have preferred a good epilogue and to see how things had progressed with Cat and Heath. I know we get to hear about them in the second book which I am reading now 'Live for me' but I wanted more about them in their own book.

3.5 really
The book starts well. The story of two young lovers torn apart when Heath just disappeared. Now he's Back to reclaim Cat who has moved on. Lots of secrets and lies that aren't all explained in a rushed ending. Some typo errors as well

Great Read!
Caitlyn does get herself in a predicament when Heath, her foster brother who she fell madly in love with when he was living with her and her parents. Heath disappears without telling Caitlyn and she is completely devastated. She now at college and she has a boyfriend who is devoted to her and she believes that she has a great life until Heath returns and turns her world upside down. Its a really good book and i was gripped from the start especially when Heath turns up. I wasn't sure how it was going to end for all involved. Great Read!

Didn't like the H&H
I have always enjoyed reading this authors contemporary romances but of late she has moved into the NA (new adult) category of romance and I don't think it's working for her. I didn't enjoy her first two NA releases. Seeing this one for free I thought I would give it a go but my goodness, it was worse than the other ones I didn't enjoy. To be invested in a romance you have to like the hero and heroine. Well I didn't like Cat or Heath. Their love story from the past was lacking so I never felt their 'love'. I can see why Heath left Cat four years ago being a valid reason but not why he would have severed all contact and then for him to just turn up four years later when she has just become engaged to another man..Nothing worked for me in this novel. I was bored. I felt nothing. If this is your first read of this author and you don't enjoy it then do look up her contemporary novels like the 'Fast Track Series' as she is much better at writing adult romances.

TOO MUCH DRAMA
4 years ago after declaring their love for one another Cat thought that Heath and she were going to be together forever. But Heath disappeared and never contacted Cat again.Present day Cat has reinvented herself. She's hidden from everyone her poor background and is now quite the sophisticated young woman. Her boyfriend Ethan is probably the most respected and popular guy on campus. Everything is coming up roses, when out of the blue Heath reappears.I had high hopes for this story about reunited lovers. But I found it so difficult to feel any connection to the main two characters. Cat was a drama queen and Heath was a complete idiot. I felt sorry for Ethan to be honest, although he was well shot of her really. The main reason I kept reading was to find out the big secret, why had Heath just left Cat without a word 4 years earlier and where had he been. Overall I never quite believed in this couple.

Unfinished?
I'm confused by this book as it ended with so many things unresolved, yet the story doesn't continue on. Cat's character arc is in this messed up middle ground which I find strange that the author didn't finish.Heath and Cat are quite a messed up pair. He returns after four years away and instead of completing her, I would say actually destroys her. I found how she became horribly sad and upsetting. Which leads me again to the way the book ends because nothing is resolved in that respect.
