With a q-tip, never more than a half inch into your nostril. I put a healthy dab of Aquegel on theq-tip and rub it gently into my nostril..

What ingredients are in this?

Is this preservative free?

There are many different definitions of "preservative free" so this is a difficult questions to answer. Aquegel does NOT contain any additives used to protect against decay, discoloration, or spoilage. However, Aquegel does contain benzyl alcohol (less than 1%) which inhibits the growth of bacteria that may be inadvertently introduced into the container by the consumer.
