TRIXIE Mica 18-in Cat Tree for Kittens, Jute Scratching Post, Padded Platform...

A delight for cats from 4 weeks old to adulthood! Thai all enjoy perching, scratching, batting, climbing, hiding, and darting thru. There are also several reach-around crannies that enable some sneak-attack entertainment. The dangling balls aren't quite top-notch, tho. One detached within days of the cats being introduced to the tree, and the material is too good at catching claws. The cats love it regardless, so i didn't ding a star.

I've bought so many 1-seat cat trees over the years, and this one has been the biggest hit for hanging out in. My senior cat loves it. I just bought a second one because it was on sale. (Both I bought when on sale.) Takes almost no time at all to put together, and is fairly sturdy. Not sure a big heavy cat would work with this, and it might be unsteady; but a smaller full-size cat, like mine, is fine.

Nice scratching post but the fabric isn’t attached very well and not as durable as the one we purchased before our house fire (same material). Within a week of using it the fabric has already come undone from the tower. Works for temporary scratching post and bed but wouldn’t buy it for a long term item.

Kitten likes it when catnip is sprinkled on the arch! Don't let children sit on it or it won't hold up. Too small for a grown cat, but just right for a kitten.

Had I listened to some of the reviews I never would have purchased this! So glad I didn't. My kitten loves this. It is sturdy, she is on it all the time. She sleeps on it, watches out the window, uses the scratch posts, and leaves my furniture alone. She only weighs 4 pound now, but I am sure that it will hold her when she is fully grown. I put it on a small table in front of the window and made two pieces of duct tape into double sided tape to keep it from sliding and it is her favorite place in the house. The string on the pom pom was very flimsy and broke right away, however I just put a heavier piece of string on it and stapled it (heavy duty staple) to the platform. I am totally pleased with this product. I am attaching 2 photos to give you an idea of the size.

I purchased two of these for my rescue kittens. While assembling the first one, the screw to connect the top platform to the post popped off. There is no way to repair this and the structure can not be assembled without it so I requested a refund. I assembled the second one and put it in the playpen with my very young kittens. They absolutely loved it. After less than a month of use, the screw on this one popped off as well and the top platform tumbled down along with my two-month old kitten. The scratching post was lightly used by kittens weighing no more than two pounds. I can't imagine how quickly this product would break with a larger cat using it!!! Such poor quality is inexcusable, especially when it can cause harm to a pet. Unfortunately, this incident happened 9 days after the 30 day return period so I can not get a refund. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you care about your cats, be careful to only buy top quality products that don't pose harm to your beloved pets!

Our cats went nuts for this thing. Not so much the little tower attached to it, but the arch is absolutely wonderful. The base piece of the arch under the material is so sturdy, that when the sisal mat was torn to bits by our cats I simply got some sisal rope and hot glued it on, wrapping it around to refurbish it. I used our staple gun to add stability, but I don't think that's crucial. In any case, we've loved it so much that I recently got another one. I had planned to disassemble it and throw it out, but upon removing the shredded sisal I found it could be restored once again. And now, while they use that one, I can refurbish the old one and it can be used again. (And to be honest, I'll probably take that sisal mat off as soon as I have enough rope to replace it. TL;DR: Great item. Good price, I think. Can last years with minimal maintenance.

I love this little tree. My young Maine Coon Kittens had so much fun on this before they graduated to the Junior cat tree. Eventually, they will go to the 7' tree; but all my litters start with a small one and this one is adorable.

Keine Beanstandungen, auch der Versand hat trotz der Feiertage gewohnt flott funktioniert. Gut verpackt, die Verarbeitung der Teile wirkt auf den ersten Blick ordentlich, der Zusammenbau ist auch für ungübte Heimwerker kein Problem (wie in Anbetracht der überschaubaren Anzahl von Einzelkomponenten nicht anders erwartet). Da ich mir für den Preis keine statischen Berechnungen bzgl. des Schwerpunktes vom Hersteller erwarte stört es mich nicht, dass Kratzbaum ganz leicht wackelt (Die Konstruktion insgesamt - NICHT der "Baumteil" an sich. Den kann man bombenfest anschrauben, auch die Plattform). Die Konstruktion ist auch nicht schwer und irgendwie muss sich das ja auswirken. Man hat jedenfalls nicht das Geühl, dass er gleich umfällt, wenn sich die Katze mal einseitig auf die Plattform setzt. Positiv finde ich die Länge des Baumeldingensspielzeugs, das von der Plattform hängt - auch als eher nervöser Katzenvater halte ich es für eher unwahrscheinlich, dass unsere Kleine es schafft sich daran aufzuhängen ... wer immer noch Bedenken hat greift zur Schere. Das Aussehen ist ausgesprochen dezent, die Konstruktion wirkt sehr klein und lässt sich zum Beispiel gut in der Ecke neben einem Sofa "verstecken" und die Katze hat immer noch das Gefühl ihren eigenen Aussichtspunkt zu haben. Sobald unser Kätzchen ausgewachsen ist, werden wir bestimmt etwas "erwachseneres" anschaffen, auf Grund unserer Erfahrung hiermit gerne wieder von Trixie

Meine Katzen sind es gewohnt, daß direkt neben dem Sofa etwas zum kratzen steht. Das alte Ding war kaputt und ich habe mich hierfür entschieden. Seit dem liegt meine kleine (Siam) Katze immer gerne da drin wenn ich es mir gemütlich mache, Der Große (normaler EKH) passt zwar auch rein, aber liegt lieber auf einem größeren Kratzbaum. Aber als kleine Kratzgelegenheit ist er optimal. Ich habe allerdings da zusätzliche Kissen heraus genommen, dann ist mehr Platz in der Mulde. Meine Katzen finden ihn toll, und darauf kommt es an (und sie gehen nicht ans Sofa)

Ça fait des années que je l’ai, mais impossible de m’en débarrasser un jour je pense, tellement mes chats l’aiment. Je l’ai acheté quand j’avais un seul chat, j’en ai aujourd’hui 3 et les trois l’aiment. Il a bien résisté dans le temps. Le revêtement n’est pas abîmé. Depuis quelques temps la corde à fini par se détacher mais elle est resté nickel pendant des années. Il est vraiment bien rien à dire

Parfait,facile à monter et apprécier par mon chat

In many years of having cats, this is the first activity centre I've bought. We had recently lost one of our cats on the road and I wanted something to encourage the surviving one and the new one to want to be indoors more. This is a small tower but both cats just love it. I was sceptical as to whether they'd use the scratching post, but they do. They like the dangly toy although they soon had the stuffing out! They still like going outside but when they come in, they go to the post and strop their claws and it gives them something to do if we're out of the house for several hours and they are alone. This is really a kitten-sized tower; if we had more space I'd get one of the bigger ones, but for a first-time buy and to see how your cat will respond to one, it's great value. The cats certainly seem to agree!
