Rit Liquid Dye, Multi-Colour, 14.22 x 6.35 x 5.08 cm

I did a review on kentucky sky for synthetic used on cotton. It works and gives a nice tone perfect for what I wanted and took an hour.The red dye is for cotton, it is very red and I pulled the item after 30 minutes but realistically I could have pulled it sooner.I used a quarter bottle for my tiny project and saved the solution as I think it will go again.Again this product is bottler so I can hold the unused dye for another time. I think this weight is supposed to do 2 adult t shirts? I'd guess you could get more from it but I'm guessing at this point.

I bought this to try colour anodising aluminium parts. I am very happy with the results, it was a first attempt with rough finished parts. I let the parts soak in the hot dye for about half hour, dye was diluted a little under 2 litres, then parts sealed in boiling water for another half hour.

This product states it works on nylon. It does not. The item came out pale pink after rinsing it followed instructions to a T. Waste of money.

Not much I can say it is a very good product for dying all the stuff you need and with a rich colour

Beautiful colors

Sadly this didn't work for me. I had a polyester faux suade dress in beige and I wanted it red. I did the stove top method and followed the instructions. All looked well at 1st but when it came to the end result it was just pinky in colour, like a light baby pink which is not what I was going for and I dont like it at all. Never mind.

I bought and used the teal colour in the washing machine according to their website instructions. Spent a lot of time cleaning the residue from the machine.

I tried to dye something that was yellow and it’s now went a slight orange pink colour.

Ho preso questa tinta per cambiare colore ad un abito in polyestere 100%. Ho dapprima seguito le istruzioni della bottiglia, acqua oltre i 60°, tempo di posa 1 ora e mezza. Siccome non mi sembrava il colore prendesse molto (nonostante abbia tinto qualunque cosa abbia toccato incluso il cemento), sono andata a leggere le istruzioni sul sito. Ho così portato a ebollizione l'acqua e ho tenuto il vestito nell'acqua quasi bollente per un'altra ora e ho tenuto il vestito nel colore altre due ore dopo...risultato? niente....niente...vestito identico a com'era prima, non ha preso neanche una leggera sfumatura, neanche sulle scritte interne delle etichette che erano bianche. Do due stelle perchè il colore è un rosso ciliegia intenso e molto bello ( e sembra colori molto almeno sulle altre superfici da cui ho dovuto levarlo con olio di gomito) ma non possono proprio dire che sia un prodotto per tessuti sintetici e che sia efficace su tutte le superfici.

L'ho usato per una vecchia maglia in cachemere che è ritornata nuova. Bisogna sapere comunque che le macchie (tipo una piccola di vino) si colorano in maniera leggermente differente.
