I don’t typically leave reviews on supplements because every experience and body is different. For myself, I just had my bloodwork done and can see that my cholesterol, triglycerides, and glucose have all improved (from moderately bad to good!). And I’ve lost about seven pounds. I have not changed anything to my diet or exercise. So I can say this is not a miracle pill, but l’ve seen clear benefits. I would recommend to someone who is hemming and hawing on ozempic to try this for three months.

The bottle says 1000mg capsules, but that is not true. They are 500mg and you have to take two of them to get 1000mg. Some people claim they had weight loss. I have been fighting weight gain instead. However, one good thing is that it was quite remarkable at lowering my glucose. Several times now my glucose has been so low that I had to skip my insulin. I noticed an average of 100 to 200 points less than before on average. Years ago I tried metformin in which I had an average BG of 400-500 points with a high of 1100 and a bout of lactic acidosis. Switching to glipizide + insulin, my BG went down to 300-400 on average. However, with berberine 500mg daily it runs about 200-250. At 200 I skip my insulin so I don't crash with the glipizide. As far as side effects, it is a fact that it causes GI pain and discomfort for a few days while you get used to it. Oddly, metformin never caused me any GI problems.

I bought these to help with weight loss and they really work. I don’t have craves, I don’t feel for food. When I do eat, I feel full easily. Sometimes I eat just a little bit and I’m feeling uneasy. I must mention the nausea and sometimes a little stomach ache. The capsules are easy to swallow and it doesn’t leave any taste in my mouth. It does give my pee and poop a bright yellow look though. I have been on wegovy and this Berberine gives similar results to the wegovy.

This works at least for me- I lost weight after about 6-8 weeks of use. I am kind of maintaining the weight and still taking this but a little less dose. I'm glad I learned the wonders of berberine

I ordered this after reading reviews for weight loss. I am pre-diabetic and am not a candidate for a GLP and can’t afford one on my own. Am very skeptical about the compounded GLP they advertise on FB since they are not FDA approved. So after reading the reviews on Berberine…decided to order it and try it since it is a vitamin. I am on my 3rd day and have noticed a significant difference in “food noise” and my appetite has definitely decreased a lot!!! I am a late night snacker…and with taking this…I find I am not snacking at night at all!!! I know there is no miracle drug or vitamin…but this does help me and am in hopes it continues.

I’ve tried various different brands of Berberine. I find this one to be okay. Not really the best brand I have tried, though. I take Berberine for weight loss and weight management, as well to help keep my blood sugar levels low along with a change in diet. It mildly works. So the quality is okay. But not the best brand I’ve tried. Though I regularly buy other types of health supplements by Nature’s Bounty for years. This one is fair for the price and mild general effectiveness. I have been takeing berberine supplements for a year now. I take them for 2 -3 weeks and then take a break for 2 weeks, so that my body doesn’t get used to the supplement and also to help protect my liver. Berberine is the type of supplement that has to be taken a break from for at least 1-2 weeks to protect the liver from damage. It is a safe supplement to take but a potent one that requires being taken intermittently only. Diet change is a must if one is trying to lower blood sugar levels anyway. This supplement simply helps aide in lowering blood sugar. It shouldn’t be depended on solely for this purpose. It can boost the immune system and has for me.
