Great clock, not even a whisper, and keeps to within 1-2 seconds in a year
This is a great clock for a room in which you don't desire any quiet little "tchk-tchk-tchk-tchk" as the sweep second hand moves. I've even had pretty decorative "diner" clocks that made the sound WITHOUT a sweep second hand. Braun quality has remained high through the decades, this clock is by not means deluxe, but is well assembled, looks nice, and of course is silent as promised. Easy to read from across the room, which is ideal for my kitchen setup. I keep mine under cabinets near the coffee machine, lit by a nightlight (which turns white in a power outage), so it's visible at any time day or night. As mentioned in my title, this clock keeps to about 1 second accuracy over six months. That's better than my luxe marque car's clock. My bedside Braun alarm clock is the same. These contain high quality timekeeping engines that don't require adjustment except for Daylight Savings change. Just keep a fresh battery in them during changing. Mounting on a wall hanger hook can be tricky. I found a screw with a ¼" shunt on it, screwed into the wall so it didn't move, and then mounting the clock was easy PZ. Picture hangers aren't ideal, use a screw that will fit the hanging hole and them lock into the narrower slot above it. Now your clock is MOUNTED.

Hyper Legible Clock
Beautiful clock, highly visible. The materials aren't particularly premium, but they're certainly good enough.

Timeless Minimalism with Perfect Contrast
This Braun classic wall clock is a perfect blend of minimalist design and functional elegance. The black dial paired with clean white hands offers excellent contrast, making it easy to read the time from any angle or lighting condition. True to Braun’s design philosophy, it’s simple, precise, and beautifully understated—no unnecessary elements, just pure function and form. The build quality feels premium, and the clock runs silently, which is a big plus for bedrooms or workspaces. It complements modern, industrial, or minimalist interiors effortlessly. If you’re looking for a wall clock that’s both visually striking and subtle, this

Quiet, but NOT silent
Sharp looking clock, maybe a tiny bit more expensive than what I think it's worth. I have only one gripe: this clock is NOT silent. It IS quiet, but you can most certainly hear it. Sounds like a tiny plastic gear rattling around in there at all times. If there are few other sounds in a small room, it's becomes kinda loud, and I can hear it over the sound of my computer fans. If you're looking for a completely silent clock, keep looking.

It didn't work.
It didn't work. It's defective. The pointers don't move. And since I bought it, I didn't test it trusting Amazon, and I traveled to Brazil, I won't be able to return it. If you're thinking about doing the same: don't do it!

Clear graphics, plain design, just acceptable materials
I purchased this clock to bring on vacations. The past few hotels either have no clock or they're non-functional. I wanted something easy to read from across the room but was also packable and lightweight. For this function this clock fit the need. In terms of design it is somewhat of a letdown. The dial graphics are good, clear, legible. However, the construction is mostly mid-grade plastic, the mechanism is not silent, and the overall look is kind of cheapish, like something from Target. In the pictures the clock looks like it has a metal trim ring, with a slight concave dial, and probably a glass cover that is slightly convex [as is the case with other clocks]. In reality there is no trim ring; the cover is just a plastic ''lid'' that sticks out about 3/4 of an inch. The dial is flat. The mechanism is not noisy but emits a constant, low-level ''puh puh puh puh puh'' as the gears move. When the second hand sweeps past 6 up to 9 you can hear a slight strain [and my battery is brand new]. Overall, the sound is not loud but definitely audible if the clock is near you and the room is quiet. The main value for this piece is the legibility which is high; the numbers and hands are clear and the time is something you probably would not misread. Mine is white.

Compared to the radio clock, it gives more than 2 seconds a dat of déviation...

Vervelend als de quartz naast een radio gestuurde hangt en dan niet even precies loopt.

I wanted a classic looking clock. It was a straight choice between this and the mondrain swiss railway style clock. That's white and this is black. It is silent in operation. I wish it came in more sizes - would have preferred bigger.

Unauffällig aber sehr schön. Passt sehr gut in unsere Küche. Leichtes Geräusch (Surren) könnte eventuell stören.
