These sprays WORK
I have a golden retriever that loves to go explore the woods and just sniff. I’m usually pretty good about putting it on him and checking him right after but one day I just forgot to as I didn’t think we were going to walk in the woods and man did I regret that! As soon as we got home I found 3 ticks on him. And i usually spray myself with this too and forgot and had one on myself as well! Very strong scent but I personally love the yellow bottle more (can’t think of the scent) compared to the other I feel like it works better and smells better. Totally recommend for extra protection for both dogs and humans. I will forever be repurchasing this after seeing how well it works on my own dog

Works great if applied frequently, love it!
Works great BUT I apply it before every walk or we’re going to be outside which is several times a day. It’s been very effective here in Western NY where the ticks have been terrible. It’s a repellant so it won’t kill ticks, but won’t harm you or your dog. I spray it on my Golden Retriever then run it through his fur, I don’t soak him just spritz it all over. His coat is great after 2 weeks of use, this doesn’t make his fur sticky or greasy. Some say the pump gets stuck, mine has not but I called Wondercide about it and they said if I have any problems they will send me more pumps, and that they have a new style pump coming soon to remedy the problem. I have nothing bad to say about this product. Get in the habit of applying it before going out, it’s worth the extra 20 seconds! The smell is strong at first but fades just like all sprays do. Oh! And one time the wind blew as I was spraying him and some drifted at my face, and in my eye, and I had no reactions or problems - but now I keep the bottle closer to his fur when I’m spraying it!

Effective spray, terrible bottle (4oz)
I really like the Wondercide flea, tick and mosquito repellant sprays. I don't like giving toxic preventatives to my dog and I find Wondercide works really well. A friend of mine took his dog hiking in upstate New York and told me he found a multitude of dead ticks on her. I took my dog hiking in upstate NY and I sprayed her with Wondercide right before our hike. At the end of the day, I used a flea comb to inspect her entire body. I didn't find a single tick on her. The reason people find dead ticks on their dogs when they give them ingestible preventatives is because those medications are toxic pesticides. The tick sucks on your dog's blood and dies from ingesting the pesticide. That pesticide is in your dog's system. Many dogs experience seizures, neurological issues and even death from these toxic chemicals. I'd rather repel the ticks and other insects instead of poisoning my dog. Here's why I'm giving 4 stars and not 5: I have the large size bottle of the Wondercide spray but I also purchase the small bottles for travel or to keep in my backpack. I've noticed that the spray mechanism in the small bottles is faulty. At first, I thought I just had one faulty bottle. But after purchasing more small (4oz) bottles, I realize that this is just the way they are designed and they're terrible. The spray mechanism sticks and it's not easy to use. It's actually quite annoying. I'm going to have to transfer the product into a different spray bottle that I will have to purchase which is irritating.

I really like it
This smells really good. I do use other flea products, this is just a little extra one I spray on the bedding. The dogs smell of this when they leave the bed too. Win win

Liquid technically works, spray bottles don’t
Trying to be more holistic, this was the first year I didn’t use the “normal” brand flea and tick drops on my 15 year old pit bull mix. This is also the first year he has gotten fleas, not an infestation, but enough to need treatment. Bought this on the recommendation of my sister. Technically works. I took a flea off of him, sprayed it directly and it died almost immediately. The issue is, I’m not sure how well it works when you just do an overall spray. Tested on another one, not sprayed directly, and it kind of just walked through the spot of liquid. Biggest problem was neither pump sprayer worked properly straight out of the package. It will spray once, then sticks. You have to manually pop the sprayer back up and spray again. Thought it was just a defective one, so opened up the second bottle in my pack and it did the exact same thing. Maybe this isn’t a big deal if you don’t have a dog that hates being sprayed, but mine does, so the inability to just spray rapidly in succession was an issue for us. Giving 3 stars because it does technically kill the fleas, but it wasn’t optimal for my situation and I wouldn’t purchase again. It didn’t seem to break the flea cycle and I ended up just buying traditional drops.

So far so good!
As someone who’s dog is their literal child, and I mean I don’t plan on having kids because I’m happy with just my dog, I very much care about what goes in & onto my dogs body! I will say, I got this at the end of the tick season, BUT in NJ we’ve been having ticks almost year around, but this product seems to work decently. I’m very scared to put my dog on preventatives due to all of the horror stories, so this product puts my mind at ease, knowing it’s safe for my pup, & me of course! The smell is strong, but it’s not a bad smell. I haven’t noticed any skin irritation or anything of the sorts when using this product!

I was very excited to find these products and use them when my new babies I brought home had fleas. 5 week old kittens weighing under 2 lbs meant no flea medicine could be used on them- and since like to go natural/toxic free as much as able I thought this would be a great option. I used it on all 3 cats, plus sprayed everything I could. We still had fleas and I never saw any dead ones. The worst part is the smells are awful- so strong and they gave us all problems (headache for me- breathing problems for one of my babies and they are clearly hated the smell). I tried using it less and with the door open other days (just on the furniture while I bathed the cats instead) but it was just awful then too. I love the idea of it- but clearly these are not oils that should be around cats OR are too strong for their senses. Atleast in my experience! I use essential oils for daily things but they are never strong smelling like these sprays were- and they never bother the cats (so much so that I haven’t physically move them out of the way anytime I want to spray them anywhere because they just want to be all up in it!). I ended up bathing my little ones with Dawn a couple days and using the flea comb- and then found neem oil!!! Made an easy spray that is safe for them and repels fleas atleast! Sprayed all over them and all over everything in the house. Gave flea medicine to my older cat and saw dead fleas. Did also use Adam’s flea spray for carpets, furniture etc. I highly recommend that and the neem oil. We are flea free and stopped an infestation from happening praise the Lord!!!
