Listerine Total Care Stay White Mouthwash, 500 Millilitre

What could be said, it's a well known brand and comes at a cheap price. Would have like to see other flavors from the brand on pantry, but this does do the job for sensitive teeth.

As described

I thought I would try Listerine stay white as I liked the sound of 10 benefits that it states on the bottle. It is a bit more expensive than the one I normally use but thought it was worth a try. My usual mouthwash is alcohol free but this one has alcohol as the second ingredient. I poured then swished and my mouth went completely numb! Yes, my mouth felt clean and fresh afterwards but I did not like the reaction the mouthwash had inside of my mouth. I won't be buying it again. I will stick to my alcohol free mouthwash that works and doesn't make my mouth feel very strange for a while afterwards.

I don't like the taste.

Where do I begin? I purchased this bottle of, what I had believed to be, industry standard mouthwash. I might even go as far as saying that I was EXCITED to use such a well advertised brand. I woke up one morning deciding that today was the day. I would finally allow myself to try something I had assumed would both taste great and give me a fresh smile. Oh how I was wrong. I undid the cap, poured the blue liquid and proceeded to take a swig, making sure to rinse it around my mouth as instructed by the kind labelling. The first few seconds, I digress, were exhilarating, the fresh and minty feeling was much appreciated. However I can assure you that the after-taste was quite the opposite. It was like I had poured petrol into my mouth and then proceeded to take a drink out of the local sewerage system. I'd like to tell you that this utter monstrosity of a liquid got better as time went by although I can confirm that my mouth remained tasting of acid for the rest of the day. I remain optimistic and will try this mouthwash again due to the fact that my tastebuds from that fateful Monday morning still have yet to resurface. I respect the brand, not the contents. (Have yet to see whether this brightens my teeth or not, it didn't stay in my mouth long enough to find out)
