Well worth the money
Have played guitar for nearly 50 years now, so have decent knowledge on what's good and what's not. This little pedal set up is incredible for the money.Originally bought the cube baby, but on seeing this a week later thought I would give it a go due to the small outlay.Great effects included and to top it off Impulse Response included too.The amps sound fantastic through my headphones. Not tied through my amp yet or the XLR output which would go straight into a PA system. How they make this for £80 is amazing.Initially had an issue getting the tank G app to connect but you need to go onto the app settings on your phone and provide the app to have access to location and whatnot for it to connect via Bluetooth for editing patches etc.I showed my dad the pedal the day I got it and he asked me to order him one too as he was that impressed with it.Overall I can definitely recommend it for any budding guitar player out there.Perfect for home practice but would also make a great lightweight set up for gigging too or a back up solution if something went down.

Really good unit for the money.
Returned mine as it had a strange noise over the high gain sounds, had no issues with returns. As for the unit itself, really good for the money. I have now sourced a fully working one. Loaded my own IRs (the built in ones are not great) and now sounds really good. Only complaint from me is the noise gate is very slow to kick in and when using high gain sounds live this is not amazing but it still works (eventually). So convenient for a small setup as can fit in the guitar bag and runs on battery. Have used live once already and it will be going forward my main unit (don't use my amp live in current setup as just a Duo playing to backing tracks). It's best to use the computer software to setup (works well) as some of the controllers on the unit are quite touchy (also need to use the software to change IR's etc). But you can then use the unit to change volumes on patch's and tweak your sound if needed.

Cheap and Good
Well, it is cheap and works. I haven't been able to do the IR thing though because the software is just for PC's not Mac's. But even so it is still a bargain.

Tank-G: a lot of potential
The Tank G only functions as intended when you control it via a device. When I downloaded the software on a Mac running Sonoma, I got the message “M-EFCS” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. By right clicking I could open it at the expense of lowering the security on my machine. The four foot switches turn on/off a further 36 presets which you can change the parameters of on screen and store. From my experience, there are other multi FX pedals out there which are better, and quicker and easier to use (although much more expensive), and Tank-G is a bit fiddly to use. That said, the lighting on the top knobs is a great idea, should you ever use it to play live, and If you have lots of time plus on a budget. then I would recommend this, as it has a lot of potential.
