I really can't believe they messed this one up. Gate hooks have been around FOREVER, and their manufacture shouldn't be complicated. The problem is that there is no return angle on the hook end. The hook needs to look more like a letter P, so that as gravity keeps the hook down, the curve catches if it is pulled. That's how they have been made for 100s of years. With no return angle, the hook simply pops off as soon as there is any pressure at all.I was going to bend it into a correct shape, but just returned it instead.The metal quality is pretty good, so it's sad to see that the design is so bad.

Okay, so I ordered these and they were a bit larger than I thought. These definitely did the job, and are very sturdy.

Heavy duty. No directions but any idiot can put it up. Works great

Eyes were not welded on properly on all but one, so I had hooks, plates, and weird semi-circle bits.

Completely retarded product. Yes, hook is super heavy duty but is shaped in a way it constantly slips from the ring.

The hook slips out sometimes, I wish it was more of a hook, it’s bent out the wrong way

The hooks were easy to install, live up to their function, and I've been very satisfied with them until I've been noticing that they're rusting rather quickly, and am disappointed, as the parts are listed as Stainless Steel, which aren't supposed to rust. I recently emailed LONKER regarding this issue and have yet to receive a reply. I gave it two stars, because I don't know how long the parts will last, and I don't plan on reordering from LONKER anytime soon. I believe they should have offered a replacement order, but I haven't been contacted.
