We were about to purchase what would probably have been an excellent aftermarket roof rack kit but then realised that the cost was for *each bar*. Who only orders one bar (unless you have one that is broken.)?As the description states, this is for a PAIR of roof racks for a Subaru WRX or STi.It arrived in perfect condition in a Subaru-branded box. Installation is exceedingly simple, as long as you install them in the correct direction and pay attention to which is in front and which is to the aft.We were not sure how to flip the plastic rail piece on the car itself. After viewing a few videos that did not make it seem difficult, we used a flat-head screwdriver, reached under the plastic, and twisted. With relatively minimal effort, they flip outward.The long boot of the rails must face forward, and the L/R directions are clearly indicated on the rails themselves.Except for the screwdriver, the only tool that is necessary is a torx driver, which is included in the kit.Very solid, sturdy, and secure. And they look amazing on the car, too!

These are exact fit, true OEM Subaru crossbars. Fit my 08 WRX, I’ve used the heck out of these. My fiancé and I tested their limits with a rooftop tent, full of camping gear. They currently hold my roof basket and my spare tire, we live way off grid and I’m always strapping junk to these things lol. I’ve had a square 60 gallon water tank full in the basket, it took it. That’s over 450lbs

Fairly easy to install. I can see why people have had trouble lining up the screw to the hole, you just have to go slow and really feel for it. Took me about 10 min to put on. Looks great, not overly expensive.

So I just finished installing it, put a ski rack on it, and went to the mountains for a day. It works great. I'm using it on a 2013 WRX hatchback.Another reviewer mentioned that the screws with the wing nuts are too short. I thought this was the case at first too, but eventually discovered that they're the right size. For me there were two reasons: the plastic base piece that touches the car needs to be secure and flush with the rest of the rack (the plastic tabs should be all the way in), and the screws are difficult to align since you're doing it blind. I found that it was easier when I used a long M6 screw (M6 1.0 x 100 mm long) to roughly align one side, which makes the other side more closely aligned. Make sure the plastic bases sit in the the grooves on the car. Anyway, after setting it up like that, it was easy. After you get the first wing nut screw in, just take out the M6 and replace it with another wing nut screw.

Easy to install. Looks very nice on the Subaru. Had them installed for just under 6 months and had only hauled my bike and bike rack a handful of times before the front bar cracked and bent on my most recent outing. Luckily, nothing came smashing through the moonroof. Have contacted seller to ask about a warranty but have received no response, thus far.

Worth the money, definitely would go with the OEM racks over aftermarket. I had a little trouble installing the front on due to the plastic bowl piece being to tall so I substituted a couple thick washers instead. Other than that I love it. Hardly any wind noise.

Super easy to install and looks great. One of the caps fell off the day I put it on so I contacted the company and he sent me one that didn’t fit, then found the right one and sent it to me all free of charge. Absolutely great customer service and a really good price for what you get.

I purchased this for my 2009 Subaru WRX STI and the item description states "for 2008-2014 WRX/STI - E361SFG401". I was shipped an E361SFJ001, which is for the 2012-2016 Impreza. Item was returned and the replacement was also the E361SFJ001 model. Buyer beware, you may end up returning this if you are looking for the E361SFG401/E361SFG402 model. 3 stars, since the item was fine and authentic (with fast shipping), but not the correct one.
