This is a very pleasant mud mask for mature and delicate skin. It's the pinkest of pinks with a lovely rose scent. It's made with Maniocouagan clay which I understand comes from Canada and is mineral rich and used as a muscle relaxant and astringent. This might explain the slight but brief stinging sensation I got from the mask before it dried. It is however, very gentle and does not irritate my skin at all. The mask contains botanical extracts which are all beneficial for skin. It comes in a small tub with a screw lid and plastic spatula. This is needed to remove the mask and spread it over the skin. It's rather thick and though not dry, I thought that it lacked moisture because it goes on heavy and I need to use my fingers to even it out and fully cover my face. Within about ten minutes it's dried though I leave mine on for longer. It doesn't crumble off as some others do. It's easily removed with a soaking wet face cloth and then it leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed and refreshed. It does not leave my skin feeling dry, rather it's hydrating and nourishing. It's a beautiful mud mask for a relaxing deep cleanse when you feel your skin needs a boost.

This rose clay mask features a light floral scent, I love the pastel pink colour of the clay & my skin felt soft, supple & well hydrated after only one application. It comes with a plastic spatula for easy mess-free application & feels very soothing on the face, it dries quickly within 20 minutes without crumbling off though it requires rinsing thoroughly afterwards which was the most time consuming & messy part of the whole process.
