Dark Angels Tarot: 78 full colour cards and instructions

I brought for my daughter as a gift , she likes the cards very much , thank you.

This deck is properly Gothic. Dark colors throughout, and the legend introduced in the companion booklet seems to be grim, but in actuality the entire Tarot deck is built on a an artful series of contrasts, between spiritual and mundane, dark and light, higher and lower. Some decks could make me feel sad with their energy but this is not one of them, it elevates me instead, reminding me of the (difficult) choices I could still make and how empowering they are at times.The Major Arcana lacks the traditional card designations, you will not find "the Fool" or the "World" written on any of them, even though they are listed in the booklet companion with some interpretations provided.I would not recommend this deck for complete beginners who don't know how to start, don't trust their own intuition yet, and have to follow the instructions provided by the author to the letter. The companion booklet verbally encourages a really grim tone to any reading, but the artwork on the cards themselves supports a more intuitive approach and an advanced user will cleverly deviate from the offered interpretation to find their own(better suited for a particular understanding) way.The Rider Waite system is followed very well with some slight variations. If you like to analyze your decks deeply the way I do, you might find it pleasurable to notice the minor differences especially in the Strength card and in the Emperor, but if you ignore them, it shouldn't be crucial for an interpretation either way, so long as you are generally allowing your instincts(and not your rational mind) guide you with this deck.If like me, you sometimes pick out a Tarot deck simply for the sake of its artwork and inspirational effects, then this might be something you would find pleasurable without doing any readings, especially if you don't consider darker settings to be evil just because they are dark.The Tarot of Dark Angels appears to be the first one composed by Luca Russo. From what I could find, he specializes in fantasy themes of various kinds and this kind of training served him well in the construction of this deck. I am looking forward to seeing more by this author.
