This item does not fit F11 2012 BMW
The original plug connection to the screen is not compatible, see images. I should have read the reviews..or lack of them..before I made the purchase.

Aux cable to small f10 2011 520d
Doesn’t support video on screen even thought it is advertised as such. aux cable is way too small so have to purchase a longer cable.Fitting instructions could do with an update as trying to find someone doing it on a bmw 2011 series 5 was impossible.Works fine other than that fitting was straight forward.

Zero Product support seller basically told me to go away
Doesn’t work properly, ordered a CIC for my CIC car, cannot use the original iDrive System via the new screen as the control buttons don’t work

I would deffinetly reccomend investing in one of these. The only thing is you have to connect your phone to the screen and the cars original system for the music to work which I didnt know so it took me a while to get the music sorted otherwise it's very good and it looks super good as well. I got bmw 5, 2011 f10
