GWG12V-20SN 12V Max Brushless 1/4 In. Right Angle Die Grinder

I purchased this angled grinder because I needed to get into tight spaces on metal sculptures that were difficult to do with my pneumatic die grinders. This tool works as advertised, it should be noted that I do not force the grinding, but let the tool use speed to do the job. The batteries last longer than I anticipated and the tool is ergonomically designed to be comfortable during long use. This is a great buy for my intended use and a welcomed addition to my toolbox.

Great tool that I didn't know existed. Always used pneumatic die-grinders. Battery does not last like a pneumatic one, but gets the job done, plenty of power, especially with the different setting levels. Nice set, size is good and price is decent for Bosch tools.

Pretty good. No issues. Easy to hold. Vibration not bad.

All in all, it's satisfactory. I had higher expectations but I needed to be more realistic. Don't expect this to compete with an pneumatic angle die grinder. I tried carbide cutters and it will perform but obviously don't expect to hog. If you're deburring, then it's perfect. Roloc pads are about the best you can expect with this, again good for deburr. Guaranteed this would perform if it was 18V but would take away the compactness of the 12V. Do get the biggest 12V battery if you want better performance and longevity.

I have both the Bosch and Milwaukee gen 1 & 2. I’ve had the first Bosch and Milwaukee gen 1 for about 3 years. I did have to swap out the original gen 1 Milwaukee for a replacement because it died shortly after buying it. They are all great performance wise, but the Bosch feels more refined and it’s smoother when running in hand. The Milwaukee gen 2 is the most powerful but that’s not really necessary or most important with a compact angle grinder. It’s more about speed control, smoothness with low vibration and quick attachment changes. I like the quick lock on the Bosch best. The Milwaukee Gen 1 is atrocious with having no spindle lock and having to use two different wrenches to loosen the collet, the Milwaukee gen 2 has a lock making it easier and less cumbersome than the gen 1. Also Milwaukee gen 1 trigger and safety lock is terrible to use, it’s just like the ones you hated on the older air die grinders. The gen 2 got some better but the safety still gets hung sometimes. The Bosch just seems to be easier to use over all, it’s smoother, a little lighter, triggers easy to use and it’s a little more compact.

I have used air tools, but this is a much better.

I have both Bosch and Milwaukee 12v tools and batteries. I needed (or as my wife would say, I wanted lol) a compact grinder that accepted roloc discs. I initially wanted the Milwaukee version but this model rarely goes on sale. After further research I found this Bosch model. I have their 12v orbital sander and I love it. So I purchased it on sale and took a chance. I can tell you I am very impressed. It has power and it is extremely quiet. It is very light to handle and fits well in the hand. Milwaukee does make excellent tools but for my needs and budget, this tool checks all the boxes.

Great little tool for tight spots

2 baterías de 3A. Si gasta considerablemente rápido la batería, por ello trae 2 incluidas en el kit. No he puesto atención a la duración de la misma quizá 30 min constantes. Es lo de menos, con 2 es más que perfecto. La compre para quitar óxido a láminas de equipos médicos y pintarlas. Hace poco hice una estructura de ángulo de 3/4 de fierro negro para poner un techo a una ventana. Tuve que limpiar los ángulos que se estaban manchando con óxido. La grandísima ventaja es que en AliE xpress y acá mismo hay muchos insumos para ser usados con los discos de 2 pulgadas, incluso se puede usar discos de 1”. Con el adaptador de 1”. El madril Acepta zancos desde 6 hasta 6.34mm (1/4). Solo que en 6mm se tiene que apretar a tope. De preferencia que sea de 6.3mm o 1/4. Es extremadamente cómodo, una exquisitez el tenerlo en la mano. Limpia el metal de óxido con una deliciosa facilidad. Esta herramienta de verdad que enamora. Ya le hice el amor 3 veces seguidas la neta.

Amazing tool. It's so light and versatile, powerful enough and fits all the 1/4" bits. I regret not getting the 3 amp batteries though. It eats power.
