Although these are advertised as compatible with Dolce Gusto machines, the pods do not always work properly, often causing the machine to sound as if it's overloaded, struggling to force the water through the pods, which then often leak from the top. I have three different types of Dolce Gusto machines and this happens on all, so it's not a fault with the machines, which work fine with original branded pods. So I won't be ordering these again, since long term use may damage the machines, which is a shame as despite being cheaper I actually preferred the taste on the few pods that worked OK.++ UPDATE ++ 29th July 2017 now upgraded to FIVE STARFollowing my 2 star review above, I was contacted by the manufacturer of these pods, who expressed concern about the problems and advised that they had redesigned the manufacture with a change of internal membrane, had tested hundreds of pods themselves, but would like to send me 80 replacement pods free of charge for me to test and give honest feedback.Having now run a number of pods of each type through two of my Dolce Gusto machines, I am pleased to confirm that the new design works fine, with no leakage. Having had a chance to taste the coffee properly, I am very pleased that these now work as the selection of different coffee blends allows me to enjoy different flavours, whether as espresso or cafe latte, according to my mood or time of day. So I hope this product becomes available to order again soon, particularly if it remains competitively priced against the branded Dolce Gusto pods from Nescafe, which keep increasing in price.The true test of a supplier is how they respond to customers when things go wrong; because of their caring response to this situation I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

These coffee pods fit my machine but they cause it to leak!Please don’t do what I did and believe the reviews or sellers advice that the product has been improved so that they are compatible with Dolce Gusto machines,they aren’t! They might actually fit in the machine but they will over work it causing it to leak.Very dissatisfied with this product which I’m returning today.

I have found that about 1/3 - 1/2 of all the pods burst whilst in the machine. The problem seems to be with the flow through the pod as far as I can see (even with those that do not burst). For some reason the flow speed/volume through the pod is about 50% of a Dolce Gusto Decaf pod, so they have to maintain the seal for twice as long just to produce the same amount of coffee. What happens is that the pressure builds up inside the pod because it isn't filtering fast enough and the plastic top just splits and water pours out in all directions making a big mess.From the times that the seal has withstood the pressure build up I can tell that the coffee taste itself is good, for me at least, but the stress of waiting to see if I have to clear up a mess each time just isn't worth it. Fix the seal and I might buy again.

These are such a hit in my office, we have a Dolce Gusto machine and have tried a range of different brand and off brand pods, these are a firm favourite with the Dolce Gusto users and everyone, whether they like straight up strong coffee or add milk or cream or sugar drinks these. Sometimes making a few paper cups at a time to take to their desk and drink their way through during Zoom meetings.The colour is great, dark, with a nice creamy/foamy "sheen" on the surface, the consistency is good, neither weak/dilute/watery nor thick or full of bits from the grounds. Each pod can be trusted to deliver a drink as good as the last (and the next). They do not retain mater too much or leak into the discharged pods tub or cup after use.The pods are supplied in foil wrap baggies which are not difficult to tear open and retrieve the pods from, really great product and we've reordered them more than once and plan to keep doing so. Recommended.

Update: 16/10/17I received another package of these pods recently and I'm happy to say they now work perfectly in my machine. So I've amended my star rating to 5*.This company have been amazing trying to upgrade a faulty product to a working product. So anyone interested in saving money by buying alternative pods can now safely do so with these new pods. The coffee itself is lovely and strong.*EDIT*Even though i have had problems with these pods the company is amazing. They have done everything possible to try to remedy the problem with these pods.They sent me, free of charge, some new updated pods to try, where the leak problem was hopefully fixed. Sadly, they worked pretty much the same, although I did get more water in the cup before the water leaked.The coffee taste is great though if you like good strong Italian coffee!So I've upgraded my review from 1* to 3*I'm certain this company will find a fix eventually and when they do I will be back to buy more. Deffinately a company you can trust who are doing everything possible to perfect their product!*END EDIT*___________________________________________I bought these hoping to save money and after reading the mainly positive reviews I went for it, even though a couple of reviews said the pods leaked a bit.I own a Dolce Gusto Oblo and what happened was I would get about 20ml of coffee in the cup while the rest spilled over the top of the pod. I think the hole at the bottom is not big enough as it comes out very slowly, then the water builds up on the pods surface and over flows. I tried a few pods from 3 bags with the same result. In the end I returned them with no fuss and received a refund.So if you own an Oblo make sure you get confirmation that it works in an Oblo and that if it doesn't you can return it.
